Often, it seems that you better at something before you better. Beginners' luck had to become a colloquialism somehow, after all. Not to suggest that a beginner stands a chance to outdo a veteran in something that takes practice to do, but as a colleague suggested, sometimes it takes the naivety of a beginner to point a veteran in the right direction, the veteran having been pulled and pushed in so many different directions before.
It's difficult to escape a winding trajectory towards a minimum on the potential energy surface, but it's very possible. The potential energy surface is made of many intersecting, oscillating surfaces, after all, and resonance with another mode can quite easily pull a trajectory to the orbit of a different energy minimum.
It can be explained with math; trust me. There's no way some conspiracies like science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) could ever be clever enough to keep the entire conspiracy consistent with its self the whole time. You can find a proof that the wavefunction is consistent with what is observed
Then again, something like the science of vaccines is on a different scale than the science behind physics. It's fractaline because the small scale is a of the large scale but does not govern what on the large scale... completely. Just like a single virus would be met with a lot of resistance and ultimately unable to infect a very large, multicellular thing like a human, a single molecule does not really change how a grain of rice interacts with the world as we experience it either.
I was given $50 to invest in the platform HODLnaut, and told that it could be transferred to my account in bitcoin, ether, or tether. I chose tether because bitcoin was hovering around 45k USD at the time, and tether gets a higher interest rate on the platform. The interest compounds once a week, which is still more than the bank. We're not even talking about the rate, itself; just the compounding. HODLnaut seems like the type of service that quotes you for a rate and doesn't change it later, but don't they all? The rates are pretty good, but there is a withdrawal fee that is significantly more than the average transaction fee, which is something to watch out for if you're not investing thousands of US dollars-worth of "value" at a time. Swapping amongst the three aforementioned currencies is free, though, so I ended up swapping the tether for bitcoin at a rate of a little more than 44k USD per bitcoin, then to ether directly after. At the end of the day, it was a win. Maybe I'll do another swap at what I deem to be the end of a big leg up, but holding would be okay too.
There is a point to calling money "value" because it can buy things. Many people are driven by the idea of wealth and the things that come with it. Those driven by wealth created a system in which others must obtain wealth and return it to the system in order to exist in harmony with it. It's silly, but at the same time many of those that rail against the system the most are also among those that reap its benefits. It's a difficult argument to have, and even more difficult to win.
I'm not really sure if it is that humans are still evolutionarily primitive, that a mass poisoning reverted many of them to a more primitive state, or that life is naturally at a constant variance as we experience it. I'm leaning towards the last option on account of the fact that we observe so many different forms of life in the first place...
