A warm welcome to another Let’s Simplify Things! post!
Today let us simplify Coinbase and COINBASE Pro.
As it is practically the two faces of the same coin for ease, I will from now on name it simply as Coinbase unless it is otherwise required.
Coinbase is one of the major and very well known cryptocurrency exchanges.
In Coinbase you can of course simply exchange your cryptocurrency to another one or to FIAT.
You can also earn free cryptocurrencies by visiting the link Earn at the Home webpage and learning about various cryptocurrencies.
You do so by watching some videos and answering some simple questions.
You can earn more that 100USD if you manage to finish all the tasks ( some require to invite friends )!
And then you have the option to trade.
For trading you should actually use Coinbase Pro, where you will find all the professional tools you will ask an exchange to have.
Coinbase Pro doesn’t cost anything and you use the same credentials to log in.
You can move your assets from Coinbase to Coinbase Pro and vice versa for free.
For withdrawing your assets first move them to Coinbase Pro and then withdraw them as in Coinbase Pro it is free!
As for safety, it is considered one of the safest exchanges, so no issues there.
Another future of Coinbase that is useful for long term small investors is the recurring purchase, where you can set it up in a way that it automatically buys for you at a certain time, a certain amount of your preferred cryptocurrency.
