TL;DR
PornRocket has the potential to become one of the most (or even, the most) important crypto-related to the adult industry. Its well-structured roadmap, the delivers, the team support, and the community, makes me wish I was there to invest on day 1. Do your own research and decide for yourself if is worth investing. But in my opinion, it's the only real option regarding the adult industry. And never use the money you can't afford to lose.
How it started:
So, I found out about PornRocket by accident. I was looking at some other altcoins, viewing the carts, and got curious about CumRocket and decided to read the whitepaper and check all the infos. While I was doing my work, I felt that something wasn't right. I wasn't feeling like the use case for CumRocket was solid enough.
Thinking that the adult industry is an industry that is worth billions, I was sad that there was no real good crypto project, one that I saw a future in the long run.
When I went back to search for more altcoins, there it was, PornRocket, suggested to me by the algorithm.
I thought: "Ok, it shouldn't take long to learn about it, all the others were pretty vague and simple".
Boy, was I wrong... And very happy that I was wrong.
I have to say, that they had me when I read "We proudly position ourselves firmly between PornHub and OnlyFans".
"That is it. That is a use case I can believe. It makes sense to have crypto in that."
More research, read everything on the site, read the whitepaper, join the Telegram community, follow on Twitter, check the mods, check the posts, google this, google that.
Ok, I was sold, it was time to invest.
Why I invested on it:
So, why invest in such a new project, with so much to prove yet? I made the decision to invest for several reasons and I list some here, not in any particular order:
- Not just a coin: It's cheap and easy to create a crypto coin and get people to throw money. Everyone is looking for the next gem, looking to invest in the early stages, to get rich overnight. And that's a recipe for scam and rug pull. And even without that, a coin is just a coin. If there is no demand for it, it's just some digital info in a digital wallet. But once you create an ecosystem, once you create a demand for your supply... I mean, that has to work.
- 0% fee: If you offer a service that is as good as other services on the market, but you charge less, it's not hard to get public. So I know that the project can get huge if they deliver quality. Because the 0% fee for content creators is obviously attractive.
- Ownership renounced: Once contract ownership is transferred from the original wallet address, you know there will be no amendments to the contract. And that means one less point of uncertainty.
- Passive income: If you like to buy cryptos, and make them work for you, this is a pretty sweet deal. With every purchase or sale of PornRocket tokens... The holders get a percentage if they... Yeah, hold. The percentage is 5% that is distributed between the holders by auto-staking.
- Pornmap: Their roadmap had some interesting points that no other tokens had thought of. I wasn't worried if it would be easy or not to accomplish, but they thought of it, so it is obvious that they at least did some research.
- Locked liquidity: Their liquidity is locked for 2 years with DxLock. And after that, they will consult with the community on how to integrate it into the project.
- Burn wallet: See the passive income I just mentioned? So, one of the holders is a 'burn wallet'. And once it's burned, it's gone. Since the value of crypto involves demand and supply... You do the math.
- Community: After looking at their telegram and discord group, and their Twitter account, I saw that the community was pretty excited about the project's goals. Also, the admins and mods were always helping, trying to keep up with all the questions without giving away more than they should. And several times I saw admins and mods demanding that everyone should respect one another. That is a healthy attitude and it surely makes difference when you are trying to see if something will withstand the long run. Since nothing exists without a good community.
- Adoption: See big adult actresses and a lot of amateurs, adopting the project... The same people that need a platform like PornRocket, just reassure you about the demand for that kind of thing (if you ever had any doubt about it).
What about the price drop:
Since I invested in the project, I should be worried about big drops in price. I mean, if you look at the charts, it went to 0.00000023 and dropped back to 0.00000008.
If you are new to this market, it can scare you. Or if you don't do any research when that happens, if you don't look at the whole market. Or even worse, if you use money that you cannot afford to lose.
All those points mentioned above may leave you wondering if it was a good idea to invest or not. I don't regret it.
The reality is that what happened is the same that happens with BTC and ETH, and it's done by big corporations when trying to manipulate the market. Whales just dump their tokens in the market, make a profit because they bought it so cheap, and then they buy it again cheap.
So, for people that bought it when it was 0.00000002, and bought trillions... Selling it when it gets to 0.00000023 it's just perfect, you make a lot of money.
In the process, you scare the paper hands holders and they sell. The price drops more. And now the price is very low and there are tons of coins in the market. So, time to buy trillions again.
Wash, rinse, repeat.
That's how the market works and that's how the market survives.
Conclusion:
So, I'm not telling you to invest in PornRocket. I'm telling you to look for it, learn about it, research, and decide. That's what you should do with everything you read or hear regarding cryptos. Do research, see if it makes sense to you to invest in it right away, or just wait for a better moment.
