When bitcoin decides to move, it'll move. Until then, yield farming and launchpads will get your TVL up for the next leg. Here's what I'm doing. Feel free to share your strategies.
Cub Finance
Got this from a commenter's tip, and it was a great one. Cubdefi.com is Leo Finance's bridge to BSC, and the APYs on the farm are still juicy (around 600% for the top farms). Even though the Leo Finance blog platform is shit run by morons, it is an established platform in crypto. You don't have to worry about the farm rugging, and the price of the Cub shitcoin has been stable at around $3. Even if it drops, Leo isn't going away. It will likely come back.
Overall, this is the best way to make money until bitcoin moves — get on those established platforms that are just moving to new chains. You really don't have to run around looking for new shit.
Kickpad
And let me contradict myself immediately after saying that, lol. Kickpad is a brand new BSC launchpad that got a lot of attention last weekend. It's one of those "hold/stake the shitcoin to get the allocation" platforms, so you need to get a minimum of 1000 $KPAD ASAP. Two reasons I believe this platform is legit even though it's new — it came to me through Boxmining, who hasn't been wrong for me yet. Also, the team is non-anon and full of folks who have real crypto cred.
Swirl
Swirl.Cash had an APY halving on its farm, but the price of the coin didn't dip that much. It's actually at a good place to buy ($3-4) and hold, and the APY on the farm is still above 1000%. One of my commenters made a good point that having a privacy platform on a centralized chain is goofy, and that's something to consider. That's macro, though. BINANCE would have to completely implode for that to make a difference, and that's not happening in the next few weeks. And the next few weeks is when this 1000% APY will be here. So get it now.
Wow$wap
I'm a fan of what Wowswap is doing, and I'm holding their shitcoin until it gets the pump it deserves. The actual app hasn't launched yet even though the website looks great and the community is excited. You can yield farm Wowswap on Smonk, but the APY on that farm is dropping. As I write this, the APY on the Wowswap farm is like 100%. The Shrimp Capital team, which controls the Smonk farm, is not good with communication. As a result, the price of Shrimp has dropped even though they claim to have a huge investment in Wowswap. Depending on your risk tolerance, this could be a good buy in point for Shrimp or a chance to dump it and get more Wowswap directly.
