I Created 10,000 NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) to Sell on Opensea. Here's How it Went Down.

Do repost and rate:

Hey there Ladies, Gentlemen and Everyone Else,

I've embarked upon a BRAND NEW CRYPTO JOURNEY! As it stands at the moment, I am balls deep into posting my first collection of NFTs on opensea.io, and it has been a ridiculous journey so far.

WHAT? The Hell You Talking About Ginger Man?

See, before a few weeks ago, I know jack dick about NFTs. Depending on who you talk to, I still don't know what the hell I'm talking about. That being said, I learned about OPENSEA and NFTs just passively browsing through my recommendations on YouTube. I kept that in the back of my head for a while until A few days after posting my Shiba-Based Crypto Killer, The Chow-Chow Penny. My main man @Sugarfix mentioned something that sparked an journey into the dank asshole depths of where I am now:

Follow Sugarfix, or I Will Start an OnlyFans.

This was the genesis of a few days of passive research while working (I'm a cubicle nerd IRL) and ultimately, sinking my big toe into the elctronic waters of the NFT Universe. It was quite warm. I pissed my cubicle.

ANYWAY, I looked up the kinds of art that is popular in the NFT space and I realized something.

1.) Holy Goddamn there is money in this stuff.

2.) Holy Goddamn, Somebody is paying top-ass dollar for this stuff:

94 Ethereum. That's Like, 282,000 USD. SHIT.

3.) I'm totes an "artist" or "digital artist" or whatever.

4.) With some hard work, maybe I could MAKE IT RAIN!

And so, I set off to learn how to make this shit happen.

BRAINSTORMING

So, I had a few ideas rolling around. Something I could launch as a pilot project to learn the stuff I needed to make an ass ton of unique images. With The Solar City Salesman being my most recent object of my lulz, I chose to make this:

He looks like he shit his pants and is excited to tell you about it.

It stares into your soul somehow.

Of course, this would be kinda boring on its own, so I made a bunch of colorized copies:

Not Terrifying At All.

SO, in order to get rid of the (suprisingly fitting) dead and empty soulless stare, I added some eyes with some SUPERNOVA shines of different colors:

That was a Big Shit.

I then created a bunch of different eye colors, backgrounds, accessories like glasses, and had them all in GIMP, ready to be exported:

yes... YESSS!

So, Here's The Rub:

I want to create 10,000 unique combinations of these layers. Doing it by hand would take me a trillion years. So I didn't. Instead, I followed the instructions on this video HERE. I'd like to go into detail but that would be crazy long. Essentially, I installed NodeJS and some other dependencies to write a code that generated the 10k unique images for me. It was easy to set up, and if a tard brain like me can do it, you can do it too.

Essentially, I was looking at VS code, which is a code editor for Windows and it looked something like this:

Perfectly Understandable. Watch The Video.

AND THEN... After about say, 30 minutes of processing, I had a BIG ASS FOLDER of NFT Images, ready to mint:

Ah, So Many Douchebags.

Now All I gotta do is upload each and every one of these several thousand images to Opensea one by one... oh fuck...

So, Here's the Second Rub:

That would take a Balls-in-your-ass unreasonable long ass time to do on my own. Aint nobody got time for that shit. Knowing this, I did what I have done since I was a child to understand something: I went on the internet and tried to figure out how to batch upload these NFTs to OpenSea.

... And it turns out there is no easy solution to this. If I were a hotshot Solidity Ethereum smart contract developer, I MIGHT have a way to do it. But, there's two things wrong:

1.) I'm not a hotshot Solidity Ethereum Smart Contract Developer.

2.) I'm just some asshole on the internet.

So, I FINALLY found this video HERE AND YOU SHOULD WATCH AND SUBSCRIBE TO THIS OTHER GUY.

Basically, I used what's called a mouse macro to record my movements when I uploaded a single NFT and then had it loop a thousand times to start. It worked beautifully, if not a little slow because I still needed to optimize the pattern. It looked like this:

I told Mom to ignore the computer if it looked like a "Spooky Ghost" was using it.

I left it on from the time I went to bed until a few hours after I came home from work. It uploaded nearly a THOUSAND in that time and holy shit was I happy.

I NOW HAVE THE BEGINNINGS OF MY OWN NFT ART COLLECTION! WHOO! But there is still more to be done.

LISTING SELL PRICES. PROMOTION.

I still have to list all of these that I upload for some price and set some floor price in order to continue. There are some other things I'm doing as well, such as setting up a TikTok account (Check it and follow me @weelonfacefigs).

I have a lot of promoting to do and it starts HERE ON PUBLISH0X! I'm going to interact with others on Facebook and TikTok and REALLY try and get this thing rolling. I wanna get big. Like Pecker Big. It's all about them Benjamins, Mon.

THE FINAL WORD

So, I did SOME DIGITAL ART, Made the digital art into a BAJILLION more unique pieces of digital art and then I started to upload it and prepare for my big ass promotion.

I created a separate blog right here next to my Magic And Lasers Blog, stay tuned for giveaways and updates! WE GONNA MAKE IT RAIN.

Until next time, keep your eye on the NFT Markets! They going crazy.
