How is waiting a game?

I've tried out two blockchain/crypto games so far, Crypto Brew Master and Litebringer. Both of which boldly declare themselves as games, but at what point, in either one, am I actually playing a game?

In crypto brewmaster the goal is simple. Get ingredients, brew beer, sell beer, repeat. You get ingredients by performing tasks, but you don't perform or do anything. You click a button and you wait.

Then after waiting a half day to collect all your basic ingredients you start to brew. You click a button and wait.

Then you sell the beer to the shop keep and repeat. Now don't get me wrong this is a game in it's Alpha and most definitely an idle game, but it's just mind numbingly boring as it is now. Can't even withdraw what I've earned, because I used a google sign in which apparently is restricted from withdrawing at the moment.

I don't have any screenshots of Litebringer at the moment, but it's pretty much the same(nothing, but waiting) with the only cool thing being it runs on the LTC blockchain. Other pluses are, the art, variety of equipment, and a slightly active in-game market. It still fails to entertain though and in my mind does not qualify as a game just yet, same with brewmaster.

Anyway, both games get 7/3 paper bags, not worth your time pretty much.
