How Bitcoin Fits Into the New Emerging Worldview

7 July 2021:  For centuries, humanity has operated under the premise of the current scientifically based worldview that the universe is inherently like a machine, one that is matter-based, has no organizing structure, and is the consequence of random events with the entire system being disconnected and moving towards entropy.  The universe itself is said to be "lifeless" with inanimate objects just acting as matter and the space between objects being empty.  Through this worldview, it has led to some absolutely remarkable advancements in science, technology, society, and really every aspect of human life.

That said, worldviews can change as they have in the past.  This article will explore what a worldview is, how worldviews are important, why they change, and how cryptocurrencies could fit into an emerging worldview that is rising to challenge and replace our current one.  The purpose of this article is to present a different way of thinking and then incorporate how cryptocurrencies could fit into that new worldview.

Defining a Worldview

A worldview can be defined simply as the perspective from which one sees and interprets the world around them.  This collection of beliefs about life, reality, and the universe hep to dictate our actions, emotions, values, and thought patterns that governs how our society functions.

The consequences of our worldview are apparent in our everyday actions, thought processes, and even how we see ourselves.  These beliefs have a measurable effect on all of humanity as can be seen when analyzing how are current worldview translates to current issues today.

The Disconnected Worldview

Our current worldview of a disconnected, lifeless universe that arose from completely random events leads to a disconnection of human society from the functioning balance of nature.  Nature showcases organization at a profound complexity at every scale.  The belief of modern human society has allowed us to disconnect ourselves from that organization despite being born out of it.

Thus, through this disconnection comes a permeating sense of isolationism within the universe in which we reside.  This has led to numerous consequences, such as the slow deterioration of Earth's ecosystems leading to mass environmental destruction, and the onset of global climate change.

It is also through our worldview in which we believe that space is inherently empty, energy is limited, and competition for resources is a natural phenomena of the natural world and therefore was adopted into human society.  Scarcity and competition are the driving factors for our supply & demand - based economic schools of thought.  This has been the case no matter the model whether capitalist, socialist, and so on.

This belief has led to a driving force to control resources, collect material possessions as a form of success, and has led to considerable violence and conflict between nations.  We continue to practice harmful means of energy extraction despite the fact that we have substantial evidence of the long term negative consequences of doing so because of the disconnect with the rest of the universe.

The Emerging Worldview

There is now substantial evidence that goes against our current worldview of thinking.  Profound thinker and physicist Nassim Haramein has demonstrated through scientific analysis that the universe is in fact completely interconnected at its most basic structure.  This connectivity is also fully dynamic and self-organizing through a feedback/feedforward loop in which the entire system acts as one massive, conscious organism in sorts.

Additionally, Haramein has proven that the space between objects is actually not empty but full of energy.  Each tiny piece of space has more energy than the entire material universe in it, meaning that through emerging technology, we could theoretically tap into this source for 100% clean, limitless energy.  In summary, the connecting "field" between all things in which the universe bases its fundamental structuring is something that has been written about for centuries by some of the most profound thinkers in human history: a 5th basic universal element called the ether (or aether, akasha).

Recapitulating, we may say that according to the general theory of relativity space is endowed with physical qualities; in this sense, therefore, there exists an ether. According to the general theory of relativity space without ether is unthinkable; for in such space there not only would be no propagation of light, but also no possibility of existence for standards of space and time, nor therefore any space-time intervals in the physical sense. - Albert Einstein, Ether and Relativity (1920)

Einstein - Ether & The Theory of Relativity

Instead of a disconnected universe in which human existence was completely by chance through random events, this new worldview states the opposite.  The universe is fundamentally connected in every aspect of existence through a self-organizing structure in which intelligent life naturally evolved.  Haramein aims to prove that by separating our sciences, thoughts, and beliefs into separate entities means losing the actual truth of reality.  The world is a completely open system rather than a closed system due to the existence of feedback.

How Cryptocurrencies Fit This New Worldview

In this connected worldview, there exists the understanding that each and every person matters to the whole, including each action, thought, and so on.  Instead of being separate from each other and from nature, the mindset of society would shift towards a collaborative viewpoint away from a competitive one.  Through this idea, instead of centralized methods of governance and control, decentralized methods would become the mainstream way of societal organization.  With limitless energy, scarcity is no longer an issue meaning competitive economic systems are invalidated.

Cryptocurrencies are already being built to fit this new worldview without even knowing it.  A decentralized financial system will have the utmost importance in a collaborative world in which the global human society is working together in harmony, borders become more symbolic than permanent, and connectivity replaces isolationism.  In an economic system based on abundance & cooperation without centralization, a system that can transcend borders with ease and establish access to everyone will provide the basis for future economic models to be built off of.  Bitcoin and major cryptocurrencies are providing an answer for this problem - before the problem even exists (or at least this particular problem).

Interestingly, the possibilities for an economic system built on abundance rather than scarcity in terms of energy availability lead to some perplexing thoughts.  No such systems have ever existed on a global scale that we know of, but no global human society has also ever existed until the modern age meaning this is truly a clean sheet in terms of economics.  Cryptocurrencies help provide a foundation in which an economic system could be built off with a widespread acceptance of a connected worldview, and subsequent mastery of potential technologies from such a worldview.

Shifting Our Worldview

During the Renaissance period of the 1500s & 1600s, a new pattern of different thinking arose to some of the most important scientific advances in the fields of mathematics, astronomy, and physics.  At the time, the worldview was dominated by that of the Catholic Church.  The overall widely accepted belief was that the Earth was at the center of celestial existence, and all other features of the solar system & surrounding universe orbited the Earth.

The rise of powerful thinkers such as Copernicus, Bruno, & Galileo all helped to contribute to the dismantling of the old worldview mostly pushed by religious institutions and replace it with a purely scientifically-based worldview that we now see as our modern view today.  The Renaissance was a profound period of societal change, leading to the eventual modern world and having drastic influence on humanity's current trajectory.

If worldviews have changed in the past, it would be naive to think they cannot change again.  The cyclical nature of human society comes into fruition with deeper examination of this point.  Each historical point in time, human society believes they have the most complete, correct view of the universe and reality possible.  Each time we are proven wrong.  Even if today's modern world, we are so convinced that we have everything figured out that we choose to ignore the possibility that our worldview could be less than 100% accurate, causing many of the current societal issues we face.

Summary

This article will undoubtedly come with controversy as all new worldviews due during their inception.  Scientists and thinkers during the Renaissance were cast out, publicly ridiculed, arrested, and even killed for proposing a new point of view for the world in which we live.  That said, the basis for this new emerging worldview is based on scientific research, mathematical proofs, and that evidence is still growing every single day.  For an introduction into Nassim Haramein's theories, check out this video below of what he calls the connected universe:

I highly encourage you to explore this new worldview and theory.  The scientific and mathematical breakthroughs have been substantially convincing.  A complete and rigorous course was created to educate interested parties on this worldview.  Designed by Nassim Haramein and his team at Resonance Science Foundation, the Unified Science Course takes you through an in-depth breakdown of how this new worldview came to be, the science behind it, and where it could lead humanity.

That course is 100% free and can be found here.

This article purposely did not include scientific data or proofs.  The purpose was to simply introduce what a worldview actually is, how it effects daily societal life, the ways in which worldviews are very dynamic over long periods of time, and how emerging technologies like Bitcoin could fit into a new worldview.  It is important to always think differently, question everything, and live dynamically.  Being open to change is crucial to being flexible about the nature of the world.  The creation of Bitcoin was born out of an effort to think differently, so this is a call for you to think differently too.
