TLDR: LEX takes the hatchet to crypto yet again.  Let's fix that headline - BTC IS recovering !!! ar ar ar !! Sweet, thank heavens, we DON'T have to hear LEX say "IT COULD ALL GO TO ZERO YOU KNOW" again.  But then we said that before & Lex proved us WRONG LMFAO!!!

Here's a bitter little lie about how the crypto grinch stole the Yoga studio!! By some schmo trying to justify his new york expense account PLUS doubling up for the FT anti-crypto narrative flat roof pub meat prize!!! TLDR:  nearly perfect"  top floor walkup yoga hut, with a cheezy one room air bnb, kicked in in 2017!! & now they are hurting!!   The owner admits " I was priced really high" but they used to get  some crypto people to pay up - before they went back to "watch YouTube videos about token trading."    The article is LITTERED with hyperlinks to neggy stories from last year &  yah, FTX FTX FTX.  

The REAL story:  The lowa east sida yoga dude told the know-noting FT what they wanted to hear to get his story published, played them like a harp!!  This cheezy joint is a multi story walkup on St. Mark's place.   Which was famous as a party street &  Led Zepplin drug infested album cover for decades.  We once bought a (red-hot) Honda 900 motorcycle from a bouncer on St. Mark's, sight unseen, for a few hundred dollars he spent on a single tail light for his Harley.   Coming out from a bar there weeks later, there was police tape wrapped around our handle bars  (for some OTHER reason, we got the bike the next day.)  Just take our word for it, sleazy old buildings that never went up when the rest of the city did, super cheap dive bars. 

Then NYC cleaned UP!!! so much that it was, well, really freaking boring, depending on POV, in 2017.   THAT's when this yoga place  opened!! Now, even at it's peak it was never all that.  See their cheap pillars - not cast iron like they should be - and smoky not working right fireplace?  six blocks north  on 14th street  was a "nearly perfect" health club called Clay, the wife trained there for a bit.  Ya know what THEIR fireplace  (yeah, fireplace in a health club, that's right) looked like??  , just saying.  Anyway, 2017 passed, Covid hit, and the BLM riots ripped the city.  Last year, we went to Saint Marks to get a falafel, and the whole street was still  BLOCKED OFF  for "protests" - which meant an all night party,  open air drug dealing, drum circles, the whole nine yards.  We stayed a few blocks SOUTH by Wash Square  park, someone was stabbed there, a drone was flying & looking in our hotel window, drug dealers would push on you outside your door, and every night a mob would run around flipping over garbage cans for some reason that was never that clear - what did that prove?? That NYC had gone DOWN.  

Does the FT mention ANY of THAT??  Oh no, it was all CRYPTO's fault.  New Yorkers will agree - four out of five FU's for this article !! Most of the judges are new yorkers anyway.  SHUT UP & go back to London and QUIT LYING!!! 

& that's it for crypto that says crypto.  Oh, Jem says quit buying crypto for lent - this from the one who wouldn't buy BTC at $700.  But nothing else. 

Which leaves us with the funniest crypto story of all!!  Dear readers know Nigeria leads the world in crypto adoption, despite it being illegal.  & the central bank in Nigera effed over the people by forcing everyone to try (&fail) to exchange old fiat for new right before an election.  Well now there is a new guy running for election.  Does he love crypto?? His campaign is being financed by NFT's the people did for him!!  He promises that when he is elected, crypto investment in Nigeria will be protected!!   & here we have the BIG READ all about him!!! Of COURSE the FT and lil britain will mention SOMETHING about crypto in this huge article, RIGHT? RIGHT??? 

TLDR: of course NOT !!! $#(&$#(*&#@(*$#(@*$&#$!!!! FT !!! AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!    Have a straight up FIVE out of FIVE FU's, a near record for NOT allowing the crypto dogs to bark!!
