Fear and Loathing in Las Cryptos

If this is the first post you've read in how_to_win - I highly recommend checking out my previous articles. This is the first casino review I have done and my interest in gambling spreads far and wide. Before choosing a casino - check out how_to_win for exclusive interviews with professional gamblers and more.

I often get weird looks from people when I tell them I frequently gamble and make money doing it. Gambling in our society is associated with out of control people throwing their life savings away on a whim with the hope of getting rich. Whilst there’s certainly no shortage of such individuals on blockchain gaming sites - the type of gambling possible on blockchain-based sites is a different story.

That’s because crypto casinos like the ones I’m about to review allow you to gamble down to the very last decimal of a coin. Today the price of DOGE is extremely high relative to it’s average - but a single DOGE coin isn’t going to burn a hole in your pocket.

But to further illustrate how little one’s wager can be let’s look at a less mainstream coin that’s playable on my favorite crypto casino.

Turtlecoin or TRTL is a fun coin with a fun community around it. It’s risen drastically in value in the past few weeks and is now settling. Even at the new high price it’s not expensive at all.

0.0000001 TRTL is the smallest bet you can make. That amount is less than a millionth of a dollar. In fact a single USD cent is about 40 coins.

Enough about that. The point is that blockchain casinos offer players a unique opportunity that not many other forms of gambling do. This is the ability to place millions of bets worth fractions of cents to practice.

Practice. Now if you need evidence that crypto gambling can be hugely profitable and practiced to increase your understanding of the systems and patterns - just read a few of my other posts on https://www.publish0x.com/how-to-win

I’ll be reviewing 3 casinos that act in a similar way - algorithm-wise.

  1. BC Game.

BC Game is my favourite. I’ve found it to have the most user friendly interface and I enjoy the VIP bonuses that it has to offer.

Let’s start with your free coins. Each day from your first day signing up you have a chance at a Lucky Spin. You can win up to 1BTC - but the reality is most days you’ll get something else on the wheel.

The selection of coins is a good one. 45 different options including all the major ones.

For a limited time they are also offering a matching bonus - meaning if you deposit a certain amount you’ll be credited with 80 - 200% of your deposit as BCD - BC Dollar - a stablecoin on the platform that can be swapped for most of the available cryptos as well as gambled.

Luckyfish has BC Game beat on two fronts - the first is the lower withdrawal minimums. That is certainly a benefit for the smaller player.

Secondly it has a faucet that gives out free coins in 8 different currencies. You can claim each one as many times as you like during the day with  the one rule being you have to run dry on that one coin you want to claim.

Overall there isn't much of a difference between the gameplay on Luckyfish and BCgame. The patterns are a bit different...  The gameplay might be slower or faster on certain aspects at certain times - but the games are almost identical and so is the house edge.

Ah flashy... Where would we be in a world without flashiness? That's certainly what Betfury has to offer.

You have to hand it to the minds behind Betfury. A relatively new kid on the block - Betfury changed the game by introducing wager-mining. Your free coins come every 20 minutes from both the BTC and BNB faucets. Unlike the Luckyfish faucets - you don't need to run dry to keep claiming. In fact many bitcoin faucet users flooded the site just to endlessly claim from it's high paying faucets.

The wager mining works as such: As you gamble your crypto currency you accumulate or "mine" BFG tokens. BFG tokens can also be aquired by gambling the ones you've already mined. Their value comes from the fact that the casino has a dividends pool that distributes a proportionate share to users with more than 10 BFG tokens.

The amount of crypto one would receive if they held 100k BFG today.

This is a fun concept. The gameplay on the site is somewhat lacking in smoothness and a bit too flashy for my liking - but there's no doubt that if you like to gamble - getting a cut of the casino's dividends is appealing.
