Decentralized Community Art | A Mysterious Fish Emerges From The Moon River | Fantasy Sci-Fi Worlds Collide

NASA scientists have been studying the possibility that water may have existed on the lunar surface in eons past. New evidence has recently come to light which indicates that, not only is there still water on the dark side of the moon today, but there is in fact a species of space fish which has now been identified within the lunar lakes and celestial streams of Earth's wave-maker, the moon. It appears as though the species of space-faring mutant badgers which first established the lunar colony, first cataloged the discovery of the seemingly alien fish on the dark side of earth's silver satellite.

One fateful moon'seve, a cosmonaut badger, and KEYSmopolitan HODLer, by the name of Flight Dynamics Officer, Sovmo Badgryn, dawned the space suit and weighted boots which kept his mutant blood from freezing in the frosted shadows of space. Officer Badgryn left the relative comfort of the colonial habitat to BRAVE the glowing white cold. His custom was to gaze out at the mysterious looking green-blue ball and watch it roll down below the silver sand of the cratered lunar horizon. Observing the Earthset in the ascending light of that hour was the nearest thing to an Earth sunrise that the space badgers could recall. And the memory came from a deep time before mutant badgers left Earth... back before they became Sovryn Space Badgers and before the war of the 18DOGE which utterly ravaged the blue marble.

As the Earth slipped out of sight, a bright yellow creature suddenly burst forth from a great cosmological creek. Flowing at precisely 1/6 the speed of Earth's comparable rivers, the fractional gravitation of the sluggish lunar waterway made it possible for Officer Badgryn to pluck the interstellar chum from right out of the ether. Through the clumsy thickness of his insulated gloves, Badgyn could detect the creature was some sort of a fish. Its scales glowed a vivid yellow which reflected through the elaborate detail of the aquarium habitat lie support fish bowl helmet suit which encapsulated the anomalous moon mariner. His lips fanned out like a suction cup and were reminiscent of the sucker fish of Magrathea.

Badgyn's oxygen meter rattled at him, indicating that he was running low on air. He turned back towards the the lunar colony and pondered... what was this mysterious fish? How did he build himself such an immaculate spacesuit with just his flippers and a brain the size of a peanut? Little did he know, Sovmo was about to discover the universal interpretive ability of the BabelFish he carried under his arm. The discovery would alter the course of Badger and BabelFish history forever. But neither fully knew how the combined efforts of the two would change the course of the entire galaxy (and several neighboring galaxies as well which are not explicitly mentioned in the Hitchhikers Guide to DeFi). -TO BE CONTINUED

Illustration: Are you an illustrator? Illustrate with us! The BabelFish community would love to see your creative adaptations and coloring of this concept art and concept illustrations for any of the above narrative imagery to construct a comic-like story board to help share our narrative and graphic design collaboratively.

Animation: Animate with us! The BabelFish community would love to see your adaptation and/or contribution to this image and story! Even if you want to use the opportunity to make a criticism, go for it. We can identify and solve problems through shared narrative. This is what decentralized community art is all about. We're generating a reflexive design loop.

WHO AM I?

I'm NOVAX, a Sovryn mutant space badger and BabelFish.Money community contributor. Perhaps, later on down the road, we could mint these decentralized community art pieces as NFTs and drop them to design contributors first. I'm often thinking of "out-of-the-bowl" ways to grow our #FishFam and liberate the galaxy. Some of my ideas are pretty good... and I also have a lot of "belly-flop" ideas. That's ok. We keep throwing things at the board until something sticks. I'm a Sovryn Bitocracy delegate. You can learn more about me in my extensive delegate intro post on the Sovryn forum.

I learned about BabelFish after participating in the Sovryn Origin Presale. I was Tweeting with the Sovryn community and somebody mentioned BabelFish. I read the copy on the website and I realized that BabelFish was a concept that I really believed in and wanted to offer my full support. Since then, I've also realized that the community is very talented and rapidly growing. I'm a moderator on the BabelFish Telegram, and a BabelFish Twitter moderator. I'm also involved in many of the sub-channels on the BabelFish Discord. So far, I've written 4 blog posts on my blog, BLock To The Future, about Sovryn & BabelFish. If this is your first time hearing of BabelFish, you can read those posts for more info:

MY VISION FOR BABELFISH

I'm just one enthusiastic community contributor, but I do have a lot of ideas to share. Our community is growing very rapidly. We are in pre-alpha stage so very very early in the project. We're a decentralized community in a fairly niche market sector. It seems appropriate that we optimize for any and all of the advantages we gain with our fluid organizational structure. I would like to see BabelFish provide stability to stable coins as never before attempted. In the context of a universal intergalactic stablecoin bridge between all chains, I will help the BabelFish community discover and convert untapped potential in my generalist approach.

A few years ago, I finally finished my undergrad and completed a B.S. in Technological Entrepreneurship & Management at Arizona State University. That program was a formal academic approach to growth-hacking, disrupting markets, and cultivating a mind for associative thinking. It really helped me to systematize and capitalize on my "dreamer", "head in the clouds", "idea guy" type of personality. I see BabelFish as a $100 Billion market cap project within 3-5 years. So my vision is pretty ambitious I suppose. My vision is for BabelFish's decentralized stablecoin dollar-peg (which will likely be called $xUSD or $XD) to have relevance and utility even after fiat USD has long since faded from its long-held role as the world's reserve currency. I've got to run, because I need to get more familiar with the newly released details of SIP-18 on the Sovryn forum concerning the initial token sale of BabelFish on Sovryn. I also need to take a closer look at this blog post from Sovryn, SIP 18 coming soon - Vote for BabelFish integration. Come and join the discussion, contribute your ideas and artistic talents, and share your perspectives with both communities as we navigate the lunar landscape together as fellow DeFi Hitchikers on the Rootstock Network.
