The night was quiet, and Dabdragon just finished up online and was taking a mental break from cryptocurrency until the next day, I remember smelling pine trees and the smell of a hamster cage, neither of which I have in my house. Just then the television screen began to warp and I could not breathe, my wife said I grabbed my chest and my head simultaneously and fell over onto the floor and began to shake. My wife immediately called 911 and told them what was happening, the operator dispatched an ambulance and began walking my wife through the steps of checking my airway and making sure I don't bite off my tongue. As it was described to me the ambulance arrived and started treating me for a heart attack, when that was ruled out and with me unable to speak, they radioed ahead and described my symptoms as that of a stroke victim.
Now in the hospital, it was a race to save my life from the stroke and they started a battery of blood thinning and other medicines and subjecting to test after test. I am used to this as I am an injured veteran and was very close to death while out of the country. The fact that I was unconscious, unresponsive, and had no prior symptoms was not to my benefit either as no one knew what was happening and my age would suggest a stroke or a heart attack. I am told I had brief moments of consciousness, but could not speak. I want you all to know that while injured in my years something like this had never happened to me, also my father had a heart attack at the beginning of the year so my wife kept my illness quiet until they knew more, there was no reason to upset the family until it was definite whether I pass on or get better, "she knows me well" and that is exactly what I would have said to do.
