Doge is the first dog that goes to the moon every time Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweet about it. The pump started early this year when Elon change his bio on Twitter last year saying “One word: Doge”. From that doge has been hot and on-trend. There has been a lot of tweet series from Elon that made Doge pumps contagious up until this time of writing this article.

What Is Dogecoin and who created it?
Dogecoin (DOGE) is founded on the popular "Doge" Internet meme and features a Shiba Inu on its logo. Billy Markus from Portland, Oregon, and Jackson Palmer from Sydney Australia, created the open-source digital currency that was forked from Litecoin in December 2013. Dogecoin's creators envisioned it as a fun, light-hearted cryptocurrency that will go to have greater appeal beyond the core Bitcoin audience, as it was based on a dog meme.
How Dogecoin can be mined?
Dogecoin is different from Bitcoin's proof-of-work protocol in many ways, one of it is by using Scrypt technology. It has also a block time of 1 minute, and the total supply of it is uncapped, which means that there are no limits to the number of Dogecoin that can be mined. Dogecoin can be mined either solo or by joining a mining pool. A miner of Doge can mine the digital currency on Windows, Mac, or Linux, and with a GPU. You can also mine Litecoin in the same process of mining Dogecoin, as the processes were merged as of 2014.

Dogecoin primarily usage is, as a tipping system on Reddit and Twitter rewarding the creation or sharing of quality content. You can be tipped Dogecoin by participating in a certain community that uses the digital currency, or you can get Dogecoin from a Dogecoin faucet. A Dogecoin Faucet is a website that will give a small amount of Dogecoin for free as an introduction of the said currency, in this way a user can start interacting in Dogecoin communities.

I am one of those lucky ones who bought dodge at the lowest price which is $0.012 before it pumps hard up to $0.08. But not so lucky in a sense that I also sell not on the peak just in the middle but I still have Doge left and let it go to Mars as long as there is Elon taking care of his favorite pet.
