Meet your new cryptocurrency smart wallet: impenetrable, versatile, and user-friendly - the Enjin Wallet can do it all.

Launched in January of 2018 by Enjin Pte. Ltd., the Enjin (ENJ) wallet is a cryptocurrency wallet for Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), and any ERC-blockchain supported token.

With all the recent hype surrounding decentralized finance (DeFi), you may be pleasantly surprised to learn that you are now able to interact with the Uniswap (UNI) protocol using the ENJ wallets’ convenient dAPP browser.

How to Connect Uniswap with Enjin Wallet

Enjin wallet supports many features – but in this guide, we’ll be utilizing the dAPP (decentralized-app) browser. Once you’ve navigated to the dAPP browser, you’ll see a list of applications categorized by five main sections:

  • DeFi
  • Exchanges
  • Games & Collectibles
  • Marketplace
  • Others

Navigate to DeFi, and search for UNI. The wallet landing page should open, and if your wallet is connected, you’ll see your wallet address in the bottom left-hand corner.

That’s it – you’re ready to start using UNI through your ENJ wallet! Continue reading to learn how you can utilize your ENJ wallet to interact with the primary features offered on the UNI protocol. Below, we have outlined the necessary steps to interacting with both the Swap and Pool features using your new Enjin wallet.

Swap

UNI supports two main features, Swap and Pool. By default, you will be greeted by the Swap page after connecting your ENJ wallet to UNI - as the name implies, you can use this feature to swap your tokens here.

Don’t worry – performing a swap is easy!

  1. Select your preferred tokens from either one of the two drop-down lists.
  2. Fill in the amount you would like to swap. The Max button allows you to trade the entire amount of tokens held. The platform will automatically calculate the amount of the output token.
  3. If you agree with the transaction (tx) details, select the Swap button followed by the Confirm Swap button after confirming the details of the tx a final time.

That's it! - next, we’ll take a look at utilizing the Pool offered by the Uniswap protocol.

Pool

A liquidity pool is a token pool created by liquidity providers (LP) in exchange for rewards in the form of trading fees. In contrast to the order book used by traditional markets, the token is sent from the LP immediately, meaning users don’t have to wait on a buyer/seller before executing a trade.

After selecting the Pool tab, you can create a new pair if it is not already found in the existing liquidity pool. Fear not – creating a pair is easy!

  1. After navigating to the LP landing page, click on the Create a Pair button.
  2. Select the token pair.
  3. Approve both transactions to make a liquidity pool.

You’re now ready to swap tokens and create liquidity pools on Uniswap using your Enjin wallet!

Important: Select the pair’s ratio carefully to balance the market price.

Happy trading!
