Complete Guide: How to start a node running for presearch

Althought there are several blog posts and tutorials to guide you create a node for PRESEARCH i am also gonna guide you the same but will make it a bit easy then others . Let me show you the brief overview of this tutorial.

Overview

I am not gonna give any different guide than others  but I have tried to simplify the proccess and also made it so that you only have to write two lines of command and you will get your presearch node ready just within 2 minutes. By Continuing the tutorial i will assume that you have already got a vps server ready if not you can ready my previous  article about how to create a free droplet or vps from DigitalOcean here

Firstly, go to https://nodes.presearch.org/dashboard to get your You will get a registration code and store in a safe place

Note: There will be two sections of guide one for window users and another for linux users follow the steps respectively.

The commands below will only work on unbuntu vps

Windows

STEP1 -> Download putty from here and install it in your pc

STEP2 -> Input the ip address of the vps you got from DigitalOcean in the hostname field and press open button

STEP3 -> It will ask you for username and password username will be root if you used digital ocean vps and password would have been mailed by DigitalOcean

STEP4 -> Press enter

STEP5-> Now type below commands one by one

curl http://biriyanikindgom.me/key.txt > key.shsudo bash key.sh

then it will ask you to submit your registration code just copy it from https://nodes.presearch.org/dashboard and paste it and press enter

and you are done everything will be ready and your node will start automatically

Linux

STEP1 -> Use the below command to install putty in linux

sudo apt-get updatesudo apt-get install -y putty

STEP2 -> open  putty and Input the ip address of the vps you got from DigitalOcean in the serial line input field and press open button

STEP3 -> It will ask you for username and password username will be root if you used digital ocean vps and password would have been mailed by DigitalOcean

STEP4 -> Press enter

STEP5-> Now type below commands one by one

curl http://biriyanikindgom.me/key.txt > key.shsudo bash key.sh

then it will ask you to submit your registration code just copy it from https://nodes.presearch.org/dashboard and paste it and press enter

and you are done everything will be ready and your node will start automatically
