HOW DOES IT WORK?
Basically you have to place predictions on football matches and these predictions give you points, this allows you to compete for Matic and the game's utility token. When you sign up you receive a free pookyball (rooky) and thanks to this you can only participate in free leagues. If you buy a higher rarity pookyball (common, rare, epic, legendary), you will be able to participate in leagues with better prizes, also your scores will be boosted.
As you can see below, pookyballs don't have infinite inflation but they do sell out. If they are all sold, you will have to wait for the next drop (every Wednesday). You can also pay with Matic through Metamask.
You will receive points, even if you miss the prediction. The closer your pick is, the more points you get. You can't make predictions indefinitely: you have an . You start with 100 energy, when it runs out you can use other balls or wait for Monday (energy recharges).
Pookyballs also have a level that unlock by completing simple missions. Simply place predictions to level it up. To reach level 5 you will have to place different picks and level up your pookyball.
This is my free pookyball, as you can see there are % boosts based on the various predictions made (if you predict W in home and your ball has 10% Home, you will receive 10% more points), the level (which is possible to increase by placing bets, it's like an XP) and the pressure (which negatively affects the scores. To increase the pressure you need the $POK token that you get by playing). If you notice my free pookyball has a league and a team: 10% Brazilian League and 20% Botafogo. If I make predictions in the Brazilian championship, I will receive 10% more than predictions made in other championships. If I make predictions on Botafogo I will get 20% more. These stats are random when you get your pookyball, you can't choose league or team.
When you level up your ball, upgrading stats will give you more PXP which will allow you to boost some stats. The very interesting feature are all these stats that allow you to upgrade your pookyballs. This is interesting because it can give variety to the game and modify the gameplay. It is not a simple prediction game but an NFT that you can improve over time allowing you to achieve better results. Of course, your skill in predictions is also necessary, which are absolutely free (they only cost you energy).
