The network effect has taken over.

Today I've seen two amazing articles. I've been waiting for such articles for several weeks already -- and here you are!
The first one was a freshly elected US senator Mrs. Cynthia Lummis speaking very favorably towards Bitcoin. As far as I could understand, Mrs. Lummis herself is a long-time holder, kinda rare thing among US senators, I think. By the way, it reveals a lot about how the Reps understand the modern economy... Anyway, Mrs. Lummis is nearly the first person of such a high rank speaking about BTC without mockery. Well, the Democrats have got a decent economical scapegoat.
The second article was about Maisie Williams asking her Twitter followers if she should buy BTC. Maisie managed to get a like from Elon Mask and investment advice from Mr. Novogratz, a large BTC investor. Really, Mr. Trump managed to rule America with Twitter posts, why Maisie shouldn't ask her Twitter fans a bit of investment advice?
"And so what?", you might ask.
The network effect, or simply the hype wave, has taken over. The dumb money is on their way into BTC!!!1
So pretty soon I would expect a really decent pump, followed by an equally decent dump (not overnight, but rather sooner than later).
In this very case, I actually don't like the dumb money idiom. Mr. Mask is anything but dumb. He managed to build a space ship that can really fly (and lend, too), to make an electric car that can really move, and to suggest a vacuum train which neither flies nor moves but something in between. The same is right about Mr. Lummis -- dumb people seldom win the US senate elections, even from the Republican party. Maisie is a nice chick as well, really I watched all seasons of the Game of Thrones with great interest and I love the character she made there.
While I'd love to change the dumb money here into inexperienced money, outside money, amateur money, or something of similar neutrality -- the network effect is still a hype wave, and Mrs. Lummis with Ms. Williams are its good indicators.
