Brave browser - the ultimate browser

Brave is an open source and free browser based on Chromium. The company behind is co-founded by Brendan Eich, who created JavaScript and co-founded Mozilla. BRAVE sets out to take privacy seriously - and it makes sure to block commercials and trackers. Brave can use most Chrome extensions and is very similar to Chrome - and it is lightning fast. But the unique thing is Brave's use of the Basic Attention Token, where you can both earn and give micropayments to the sites you like a lot.

Brave Rewards System

When writing a blog, you often fund your work with advertisements on the site. But Brave just sorts commercials from. Instead, Brave wants the earnings to come from donations from users or by showing advertisements from the Brave Ads Network. In the Brave Ads Network, however, both users and publishers can make money by finding themselves in advertising. But for me as both a user and a publisher, the first point is the most interesting.

Brave comes with a built-in Basic Attention Token (BAT) wall. The currency of this wallet enables users to support their favorite websites. Users decide for themselves how much - and you can put money in your wallet in several ways. You can either use the major cryptocurrencies (eg Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum) or pay via the UPhold service with credit cards. I plan to use my cryptocurrency to pay with.

So Brave does not have to look at advertisements, but can still support your favorite websites, which you think should be supported using Basic Attention Token (BAT) micropayments. By having it built into the browser, it may be more widespread to think about financing web content in this way. It could be really nice if we regular users could once again take a bit of the web back from the flood of advertisements that exist (and this site is no exception).

As a user, you can also make money just by browsing websites that have implemented Brave. If you choose to show the anonymous commercials from Brave, then you can earn BAT. As a regular user, you will get 15% of the profits, which of course depends on how much time you spend on Brave.

Why use Brave as a browser?

Although the Brave Rewards System is the main reason why I think the browser is really interesting, the browser is still a pretty good choice, even if you do not want to use the features that are in the Basic Attention Token. If you just want a fast, secure browsing experience that is not dulled by advertisements and trackers, then Brave is still a really good choice.
