Superior To Smart Money
As many of you will know, institutional investors and are often referred to as smart money. On the other hand, retail investors are often referred to as dumb money. This is primarily due to a type of herd mentality. As a majority, retail investors tend to lose money in the market. They are often careless when it comes to leverage, undisciplined, and just downright ignorant. They also tend to have a rather predictive habit of buying the top.
Yes, once again, this bull market will yield success stories. However, there will be a lot more cases of retail investors making the same mistakes, and many of them, missing out completely. It never ceases to amaze me how retail investors tend to adopt the climate of a bear market as being the “new norm”. They get lulled into a hypnotic state of disbelief, when in fact it is the most perfect and lucrative opportunity.
While the majority continue to flounder, the skilled and knowledgeable continue to make money. However, there is a “class” of money that is superior to even smart money! These are the pioneers. Those who see what very few can envision. They, in turn, take action, and so position themselves ahead of even smart money. There is now a dynamic at work that is even more powerful than an early entry.
By arriving first, they now have an “indirect command” and authority, in that the financial institutions are now subservient to them. All of the institutions that work to bring about adoption and provide services for their clients are now also at work regarding their portfolio and their growth. Essentially, they are now working for the visionaries. Buying or BTC at single or double digits, in hindsight, was the most powerful move.
It’s the apex move and is a move I look to replicate in the micro-cap market. When you can scoop up future leading projects for fractions of a penny, you have mastery. Everything that now takes place regarding Crypto adoption is a global labor force working for the pioneers. The fool is a servant to the wise. I have seen it year after year, for almost a decade… people thinking they are smart by avoiding Crypto.
These so-called smart people missed the most significant move in modern history. Not only that, but they formed opinions based on blatant ignorance. A straightforward question:
How does a person form an opinion on something without any information or understanding regarding the matter at hand?
There is no greater fool than the fool who thinks he is wise. A self-acknowledged fool can at least gain understanding. As a well-known proverb states:
Even as the fool walks along the road, his sense is lacking, and he shows everyone that he is a fool.
Simply watch what people do, they are communicating who and what they are. Pioneers do not only benefit in terms of investment success. They also gain a form of “intelligence” that can be harnessed and leveraged in many ways. Those who miss the bus are like sharks in the ocean… they pick up on the scent and move in. If you have been in this space for several years you can attest to this.
As the market picks up, so does the attention of no-coiners. The sharks pick up on your scent. It’s important to remember, that as a pioneer, you have an advantage and it will be attractive to those who missed the bus. Essentially, financial entities across the globe are now working night and day to ensure they are not left behind. However, they are simultaneously working for you and your portfolio if you are an early adopter.

It’s not often the average man in the street gets to front-run the institutions and entities that govern the world of finance and commerce. However, in this particular instance, that’s exactly what is happening. Solidify your stand, continue modest accumulation at appropriate points in the journey, and you will be well rewarded in time.
