Bitcoin up 9.16 % on the week, Fear and Greed Index at 37 - gains 4 points from 24 hours ago. Remains at Fear.

Good evening. Over the last 24 hours, Bitcoin has been trading at 41.0-41.9K USD/BTC, mainly in the middle. As I write the price is at $41,508 USD/BTC. And, at 7:30 PM New York City time on Saturday, February the 5'th, the Twitter account Bitcoin Fear and Greed Index @BitcoinFear posted an index score of 37. That is a jump of 4 points from 24 hours ago, and a jump of 17 points from the same time 48 hours ago (almost doubling the index score in two days!). The jump in the index reflects the recent jump in price preceding it over the last couple of days. When the index was posted tonight, the BTC price was $41,402 USD/BTC. One day ago when the index score of 33 was posted the price was $41,617  USD/BTC. As I write, over the last 24 hours BTC is up 0.07 %, and over the last seven days is up ~ 9.16 %. 

Below is a 3-month chart of the Fear and Greed Index values. On the horizontal x-axis is the date, to the left is 30 days prior, and on the right of the horizontal axis is the present date. On the vertical y-axis are the Fear and Greed Index values spanning those dates, with 0 (extreme fear) at the bottom, and 100 (extreme greed) at the top.
