Bitcoin will continue to head higher as more and more mainstream commentators introduce their listeners and readers to the concept of Bitcoin. As more people read and hear about Bitcoin, there will continue to be new buyers, miners and the creation of many new wallets.
A bit like the property housing booms around the world over the years, you know when the mainstream media starts spruiking real estate and even the taxi drivers start talking about property investment, you know it is a boom or a bubble. However, I do not think Bitcoin is in a bubble quite yet.
As more and more mainstream investors and banks such as JP Morgan continue to buy Bitcoin as well as set up investment trusts and vehicles for the everyday person to invest in Bitcoin, the price will continue to rise over the medium to long term, due to the restricted supply of Bitcoin.
