It has finally happened. In actual fact, BTC has gone through US$21k. Has the big move started? Or is this just another big investor getting onboard? It appears to be everyone getting on board, as not only has BTC gone higher, around 10%, but XRP has gone up 20% and ETH has gone around 9%.
Exciting times for those who have been believers of crypto and blockchain and decentralisation for years. That patience and intestinal fortitude (not getting scared by falls) is finally paying off.
However, it is interesting, that the hash rate for BTC, ETH and alt coins has not really moved up. If these price moves up, hang around, it will be interesting to see if the hash rate starts to match the price rises as people get into mining as the profits are slowly increasing.
A great time to be in crypto! I think this market is different, with mainstream media starting to cover crypto, mainstream investors and banks getting onboard. It is no longer just the early adopters and geeks talking about the benefits of crypto!
Perhaps, this is an early Christmas gift for all the crypto believers :)
