Good evening. Over the last 24 hours, Bitcoin has been moving up and down a bit within a tight range from about $38.1-39.1K USD/BTC. As I write the price is $38,484 USD/BTC USD/BTC. And, at 8:00 PM New York City time on Tuesday, February 1'st, the Twitter account Bitcoin Fear and Greed Index @BitcoinFear posted an index score of 28 which is a gain of 2 points from 24 hours ago. When the index was posted tonight, the BTC price was $38,754 USD/BTC. One day ago when the index score of 26 was posted the price was $38,435 USD/BTC.
Below is a 3-year chart of the Fear and Greed Index values. On the horizontal x-axis is the date, to the left is 3-years prior (Feb 1, 2018), and on the right of the horizontal axis is the present date. On the vertical y-axis are the Fear and Greed Index values spanning those dates.
Who knows what's in store for Bitcoin, but it does seem like slowly, and on the seven-day chart, that BTC is making higher-lows and higher-highs. As I write, over the last 24 hours, BTC price is up 0.52 %, and over the last 7-days, BTC price is up 4.20 %. Let's hope Bitcoin keeps moving that way.
