November 8, 2020 was a great day for Bitcoin as it surpassed $67,000 in intraday trading. All the cryptos followed suit. It was a great day but it was to be for just that one day. As of writing, Bitcoin has lost all its gains going back to July 24, 2021. The previous low in January 2021 saw a similar rise and and an even sharper fall to the low we saw on July 19. Bitcoin is at $35,574 as of writing.
This may sound weird but it appears Bitcoin has developed a pulse. The previous lows of January and July, 2021 were both near the $32,000 range. This morning it looks like I'm seeing a new 'higher' low of $35,000. Regardless, Bitcoin managed a gain of $3,000 in twelve months. Stellar performance in my opinion. Still, because of its extreme volatility, Bitcoin remains a high risk asset. Nevertheless, it's exciting to see Bitcoin hit higher highs and higher lows. In the last 12 months, Bitcoin has nearly doubled its value to ebb back down again... TWICE!
Suddenly, I realized that as a PublishOx blogger, recognizing Bitcoin's ebbs and flows presents an opportunity to 'buy the dip' with the articles I publish. 'Buy the dip' is a term used by investors who recognize bottoms and rush in to buy equities, commodities and such.
Case in point: Articles I published in November at the top initially did very well but those tips I earned have lost a big chunk of their value since then as our tokens followed the Bitcoin wave down. As always, I am thankful for the tips I receive. Any tips I might receive from this article have the potential to rise by 100% following Bitcoin's next wave up.
