We have all been anticipating the milestone of $20,000, however, during trading, its price fell $900 in less than 10 minutes.
Bitcoin trading closed at the highest monthly price ever yesterday, only shortly after it set a new all-time record
BTC trading opened at $19,695 on BINANCE today, after which Bitcoin’s price grew and grew, reaching as high as $19,888. However, the coin then suddenly dropped to $18,886, today's lowest price so far.
Fortunately, this is not the first time Bitcoin has dropped significantly during its current bull run. Last week, BTC dropped my $3000 in just minutes. Over the following days, it then recovered to hit new highs.
Experts speculated last week that such sudden drops may have been caused by the historic and psychological significance of the $20,000 price target.
This sudden turbulence is to be expected as Bitcoin hits new highs.
