It turned out that the data is several times higher than the figures of December 2017 and this is not what, for example, the analyst of Plan B tells us, who claims that this bull run is not like the past, when the impulse of interest was received from retail investors.
According to the observations of Brad Michael (eToro), Google shows too "narrow" analytics and in reality, when taking into account such queries as "bitcoin price", "what is bitcoin", "bitcoin news", the volume of queries on global search in 2017 was only 2.5 million. In November 2020, the volume of such requests amounted to 8.9 million.
The bottom line is that it is not the number of simple queries that has increased, but the complexity and variety of wording that has resulted from the expansion of the Bitcoin ecosystem and a better understanding of technology.
