Axie Infinity is an online game built on the Ethereum blockchain. Players can earn AXS tokens by playing the game. It has a total supply of 270,000,000, a circulating supply of 61,172,006 at the moment. Right now AXS has a price of $136 and a market dominance of 0.30%. It is ranked #25 in terms of Market Capitalization. The old time high was hit 3 days ago with a price of $162. On 6th November 2020, this token was only worth $0.12 and right now you would see an increase of 110036.9%.
What I really find more interesting is the staking interest on BINANCE which is 110% per year but only the 30 days option is available at the moment. The 60 days and 90 days option are sold out. I purchased around 50 AXS and staked them. In 30 days, I would earn around 5 AXS. I do not think that the interest will be that high for long, so am taking my chances to get as much as I can out of it.
I purchased it at $153 but it is currently at $136. Well this is part of the crypto market and as per my experience, this type of price fall forces people to panic sell (Paper hands) and resulting in loss of their funds. However looking at the price surge from November 2020, I strongly believe that the token price will pump even more. I am not expecting it to reach the price of Bitcoin or too high of course - but at least $500 at some point in time. But you can only get these type of earnings if you are patient and hold long term - like I mentioned earlier from November 2020 till now, the price increase was above 110036%.
