As I waited for my coffee to brew this Thursday morning, I cannot help but to think that not many people no longer know or remember that the USD is no longer backed by actual metal. Sure there are pennies, nickles, dimes, quarters, half dollars, etc. BUT they are not actually made from the 100% copper nor 90% silver like they were back pre 1970s. Seriously. Look it up.
I wished I could go back.. hell 6-7 years ago and invested some money into silver/gold as well as Bitcoin or ETH or whatever. But that is hindsight.
So what can you do now?
Buy precious metals/Crypto. Trade. Buy and support local businesses.

I'm not saying that you should find your tinfoil hat and get silly dilly but at the very least have your finances straight and your assets in arms reach.
Crypto is freaking awesome, as some of you already know, but what happens if you cannot get excess to your wallet? Use your seed phrase, cool. Hacks? Well.. have multiple wallets to better protect your money. Internet outages?
Bunch of "what if's".
Someone can break into your home and steal your belongings but if you store your precious metal in a safe manner and tell no one you have it, you could better mitigate theft of your physical money. Majority of time these thieves will go after what is easily visible or accessable.They do make in floor mounted safes.
I do purchase my silver oz from Money Metals as well as Goldenstate Mint. I don't have much but it's mine.
Further more, I also use Stablecoins like AGX Coin, AUX Coin and Lode Token to hold my cash. (Silver/gold backed Crypto that is vaulted and insured.)
Got to diversify.
