Are real Crypto Projects drowning under a tidal wave of meme coin rugpulls?

Each morning, I log onto my Telegram to check through the Airdrop channels for something that doesn’t have DOGE or Inu in the title; rarely do I find it. Every breed and connotation of canine has surely now been attached to the word ‘Inu’. Equally every family relation owns a DOGE project. ‘Mama DOGE’, ‘Papa DOGE’ the list is endless, although I’m yet to see ‘Second Cousin 3 times removed DOGE’, I’m sure it won’t be far from someone’s mind.

I spend hours looking for what I’d consider ‘real’ crypto projects, like DEX’s, Swaps and Wallets, were someone has had to invest more than just 20 minutes on the internet minting a shitcoin and half a BNB. I struggle…

Projects that have dedicated, skilled developers with solid plans that span beyond a scam pre-sale are few, and far between, they drown in a tidal wave of meme coins just waiting to take advantage of those in Crypto that have the least.

Now I’m not saying that there aren’t legitimate brands of ‘Inu’ or ‘DOGE’ but the frequency on which these projects spin up and wind down is on the rise; exponentially. Trust in new tokens is at its lowest. Standard people just aren’t investing in pre-sales, they’re now too wary of these rugpulls.

This makes it very difficult for the ‘true’ Crypto Projects to gain any traction. It shuts them off to the exposure they need. Press outlets and media would rather report the ‘next big scam’ than do any real research on these entirely hidden gems, bursting to grow and with the potential to explode given the proper, well deserved coverage.

I was speaking with an acquaintance, @ADMIRE_Jessica in my Telegram DM’s recently. Jessica is the lead Dev on an all female, fully doxxed development team for the ADMIRE Content Coin, and she was able to articulate in a way that resonated with me how the problems listed above are real.

“With a mission statement of ‘not a poocoin, where you go to stop-limit-sell shitcoins before they drop to zero’, it's hard to get attention. Absolutely no media outlet is interested in the first-of-it's-kind highly secure multisig token. All they want to report on is giant scams and huge amounts of funds raised”

Think about this for a minute if you would, a ‘real’ Crypto Project, written with secure code, leveraging multisig technology to make it entirely rug proof, now and in the future, may never get a look in as it doesn’t have ‘DOGE’ or ‘Inu’ in its name.

So whilst the Airdrop channels continue to plug these potential scammy, get rich overnight (which never happens in Crypto; I wish people would get that) projects. The ‘true’ Crypto Projects, that actually make a difference are left in nothing more than a Telegram channel gasping for air.
