Amazed by my Tezos (XTZ) first experience!

Do repost and rate:

I want this post to be like a small summary of my short experience of almost 2 months in cryptocurrencies. I start by saying that I am quite disappointed with what the market looks like at the moment. On Coinbase, I lost about 80 euros, given that the price of a Tezos (XTZ) is less than half that of when I bought it. But I don't regret, I'm moving forward. I wait.

2020 represents a new challenge for me. Despite the pandemic and the fact that some of the commercial and economic activities were stopped or reduced, I decided to invest in crypto. It all started with doing research, which I still do now. Basically, 2020 was a new beginning for me. Although I knew something about cryptocurrencies, this year, I decided to take the big step of moving from theory to practice. I didn't focus on too many details, I didn't go into to much depth, for a start. Instead, I started with the basics. I can very clearly say that PUBLISH0X has helped me a lot. It made me understand how things are based on other people's experience and all kind of technicalities regarding crypto-currencies and crypto-processes.

One of the best video I've seen regarding XTZ is bellow. It helped me a lot to understand what this cryptocurrency is and how it works.

What were my first steps in investing in crypto?

My first investment was in XTZ. There are several ways to buy this cryptocurrency, but I did it through Coinbase. Similar to BTC, you can buy Tezos online, from an online exchange or from other people who sell or buy XTZ. Unlike BTC, as far as I know, you can't buy XTZ from payment machines (crypto-ATMs) that can be found in different stores, malls or shopping centers.

At the time I bought XTZ, I didn't know much about this cryptocurrency and I had basically no friends who invested significant amounts of money in it. So I registered an account on COINBASE and I bought XTZ two times. In both cases, the price of a XTZ was higher than it is today. Mathematically, this means that I lost money.

I watch the market every day and I wait for the price to go down in order to buy even more. Anyway, I expect to make a profit in a few years. I don't feel like I blocked the money, I think I invested it.

Why?

To conclude, actually there is no why. I really believe that the crypto-world is stable, despite its frequent fluctuations. Even the next couple of days I expect BTC to heavily fluctuate. Last week-end, starting with Saturday morning, 1 BTC significantly dropped, went up and then down again on Monday.
