It wasn't until recently that the whole idea of "life comes at you fast" really registered with me. With the COVID lockdowns and even as they lifted the restrictions it did not seem like time sped up like some many people told me would go on and if anything the days seemed to continue to drag along. I would be a son of a gun if this year did not flip this entire thing on its head as honest to God took me 12 months to get to a position at work that I could take the time off to travel from Washington, DC, where I work, back home to Houston, Texas.
I haven't even been back for a week as I only landed on Monday and then spent Monday through Thursday with at least two if not more doctor appointments a day. Turns out there are some pretty nearly side effects when you stop paying attention to your body and then you get so used to the pain and discomfort that you don't realize there is an issue till you start having seizures. I have been so busy that I did not pay attention to the crypto market at all until today. Looking at stuff now I won't lie WOW has a lot going on!?!?!
Bitcoin continues to take care of itself as I expected as we get closer to not only the halving but also the ETF decisions. When I looked at what else had gone on I was super impressed with how it has been really doing its best to also keep up with the pretty nice stock market rally we are having as well. Looks like Bitcoin will continue to benefit if these central banks cut rates like the market is expecting next year! Not to mention I was completely blown away by Optimism the last ~ day. I saw last night that it was over $2.75 and was pumped and then by the time I checked in today it was over $3.30?!?!?! NICE! Not to mention the AMPL and SPOT conversion was when it was much lower (closer to $1.75) so as long as you let the balance roll over BAM nice nice spike in price!
Since I have a lull in my appointments the next few days I plan on trying to catch up on what is going on as I have no idea what sent OP as it did but boy is that nice! This really served as a great reminder to me that taking a step back and disconnecting and I mean disconnecting beyond not posting or reading posts is a really important thing to do every once in a while. This has by far been the biggest disconnect I have had and I have to admit I have loved it but at the same time, I find writing and posting therapeutic as well! I had a couple of pre-written posts I have thrown up the last week or so but now my attention has turned to participating in the SoftNote competition so expect that post to drop over the next day or so!
