Three Farmers at the Bonfire
Last year I was less web3 than today, and I had another try with an Amazon book. My DeFi journey started with Harvest Finance, and the story of the three farmers at the bonfire was my way build some lore around farming, Chad and crypto catastrophes.
I wrote the book, added on my Amazon Bookshelf and ... nothing happened! Not even a paperback sold, not even a kindle book read in a whole month. I am giving another try, and added a nice discount in the mix. The pumpkin on the cover was done by Byron, who's currently preparing the biggest pfp project that ever existed
Under the cloudy night sky, the fog was settling upon the fields. The moon was rarely shining, being obscured by dark and thick clouds. On the far end of the corn fields, a majestic bonfire was burning, looking like a lighthouse that guides the lost souls to the shore.
The smell of burning wood was filling the air, while the sparks and the crackling sound was filling the fields. There was something alluring about the sight and sound of the crackling bonfire, not the warmth and coziness but a mysterious feeling.
Close to the bonfire, a silhouette was vaguely moving! Maybe was poking the fire with a stick or maybe was just admiring the majestic flames. It was a lonely farmer that was sitting on a log, watching the flame dance and listening to the charcoal cracking....
