So you hear about the coin and you feel the rush to buy it? I guarantee you 99.99% of newly launched coins will dump within a week or two from launch so don't rush putting all your money in it!
2. COMMUNICATE AND RESEARCH!
Once you hear about a new project, I recommend you to check their website and have a chat on their telegram group (if they have one) and other social media groups. You have to be careful because there are so many fake accounts; you might not know it is until you get scammed. You most likely find links to social media on the project's website, but you also have to make sure the website you're on is also genuine! For Telegram chats: the basic rule is that nobody will ever ask you about your private details, private keys, etc., and if they do, it is most likely a scam. Also, nobody from the development team will DM (direct message) you first.
DM with a specific person is most of the time requested on the main chat in Telegram.
Study the project, is there anything new revolutionary that this project offers to space. Are you genuinely interested in what the project has to offer? In other words: DYR (Do Your Research) and I recommend investing a significant amount of time for this!
4. MANAGE YOUR RISK!
Manage your risk, do not invest more than you can afford to lose, and even then, don't put more than 10% of your total budget you can afford to lose into one project because I guarantee you soon you will hear about a new exciting project. It is good to have some cash set aside if something pops up!
5. GET INVOLVED!
Once you are happy with your investment, I recommend you helping out your projects in any way you can. It will pay off!
