Dash is one of the leading cryptocurrencies among privacy cryptos. It was released in 2014 under the name X coin; Later, he changed the name to Dark Coin; By 2015, it got its current name Dash. The name Dash is actually the abbreviation of Digital Cash.
When we look at the technical infrastructure of Dash, we see a hybrid structure. In the first layer of Dash, which uses a two-tier structure, there are miners and the Masternodes in the second layer. Submission is done through Masternodes. For this, Masternode can be installed with 1,000 Dash.
In the distribution of block rewards, a 45% slice is reserved for miners in the first tier. The other 45% is reserved for Masternodes on the second layer. The remaining 10% is reserved for the Dash team. The money allocated to the team is also used for the development and updates of the project.
Since Dash has a very high Masternode number, it is a project with high decentralization. However, there is another aspect of the work; This is because some mining farms have considerable power because ASIC devices are allowed in mining in the first layer.
When we look at Dash's shipping infrastructure, we see 3 different transfer types. The first is the normal straight delivery. This method is the cheapest way of shipping in the system. Submissions here are not made very quickly. The shipment is queued and the transfer takes place when it comes. The second form of submission is called "Instant send." Sending here takes place instantly. The main purpose of this form of delivery is to deal with traditional payment systems. The third payment method in the Dash system is "Private send". As the name suggests, privacy is at the forefront here. This shipping method has been determined as the highest commission paid method.
So how does Dash ensure privacy in payments? Here, the system first groups transactions of similar sizes in the submissions. Then, by mixing them technically with the mixing method, the submissions are kept secret.
Although Dash comes to the fore with its privacy feature, today it has found a wide range of usage, especially in South America, daily.
