A Comprehensive Guide To Cointiply - All You Need To Know To Maximize Your Earnings

Do repost and rate:

Hi everyone and COINTIPLY enthusiasts!

Crypto faucets are websites or apps where you can earn a very small amount of cryptocurrency, usually every 30 to 60 minutes, by simply clicking and/or completing a simple captcha. This process is entirely free (if not it's an outright scam) and is an easy way to earn your first bits of crypto without having to deal with an exchange. This being said, you will hardly earn any significant amount of crypto this way, unless you were lucky enough to participate to the very early versions of Bitcoin faucets like the first one introduced by Gavin Andresen and giving away 5 Bitcoin per claim (!). $200,000 (as of June 2021) per Captcha solved, anyone?

Nowadays most, if not all, crypto faucets also propose a panel of offers to complete for a larger chunk of crypto. Still not a "get-rich-quick" scheme, but by completing offers, crypto faucets can be effective beer money makers. Now, Bitcoin you could have made during the 2018-2020 bear market could be easily be worth 10-15x more if you had saved them until this day (summer 2021).

There are a plethora of crypto faucets available, distributing/paying with the most popular cryptocurrencies. When it comes to earnings Bitcoin, or rather Satoshi, Cointiply is arguably the best Bitcoin (and Dogecoin, Litecoin and Dash) crypto faucet out there. Cointiply is one of the oldest, most respected and recognized platform, always innovates with new offers and promotional events, and proposes a comprehensive and well-paying panel of games, offers and surveys. Most importantly, Cointiply pays!

Cointiply can be intimidating at first. Aside from claiming the faucet, there are so many options and features on the website that you might feel lost and are not sure where to start. This is exactly what happened to me on my very first visit. I claimed the faucet a few times over a couple days, then I stopped as I didn't know what else to do. That feeling is often echoed by new users joining the chat and asking "How to earn?" or "What earns the most coins?". Very legit questions, however a complete answer can be long, very long.

I actually joined back Cointiply 6 months after my initial sign up, with the intention that time around to explore, try and read as much as I could about Cointiply. There are only a few good reviews on the internet, with many of them being outdated or not detailed enough to truly appreciate the depth of the earning possibilities.

With now 10 months of dedicated practice (as of July 2021), I wanted to write a Cointiply guide as comprehensive as possible. To cover all aspects and topics of Cointiply, I knew this guide would be very long but I wanted to be as thorough as possible. To ease a bit on the length but not on the content, each section of this guide will refer to one or more dedicated, full-size article I previously wrote on the topic. In this guide here, you will find an overview of what Cointiply has to offer and a summary of each feature on the site.

One of the most, if not THE most common question from new users in the chat is "How do I earn coins here?". A simple question with a complicated answer. This guide is dedicated to just that "How to you earn coins on Cointiply?". There are multiple possibilities, chose one, two, or all of them!

Finally, I intend to update this guide and the associated articles as needed. Cointiply is constantly evolving with new ways to earn coins, so come back from time to time to find more details about your favorite feature or discover the newest option to earn coin. I hope this guide will help you make the most of your time on Cointiply. Happy earnings everyone!

Cointiply is full of features, games and options to increase your gains. Joining the platform can be daunting at first. But if you take the time to explore, and read this guide, you should quickly feel comfortable navigating Cointiply and earning coins.

Let's start here with the basic functions and features of Cointiply.

1.1 The Faucet

The number one reason with all joined Cointiply one day - the faucet! Depending where in the world you access Cointiply from, the faucet features will vary. In the US, you can claim the faucet every hour, in other part of the world only 2x per day. The payouts vary as well and depend here again on your geographic location but also on your Cointiplier and loyalty. In the US, you can earn from a minimum of 16 coins to a maximum of 420 coins, Jackpot excepted.

1.2 Offers & Surveys

Outside of the faucet, offers and surveys is where you will earn coins, way more coins than the faucet. From the Dashboard page, on the left side menu, click "Earn Coins" to access all the options to earn coins, including Offers and Surveys.

The top of this page displays the featured offers and the hot offer walls.

Scroll down to see the menu and click "Complete Surveys and Offers" to have access to all offer and survey providers.

From this menu you can also go other part of the site such as Referrals, Faucet, PTC ads, etc...

1.3 Mobile Platform

Cointiply also has a mobile app, which is really worth using and exploring. While essentially proposing the same options, the mobile app has a few distinctive features including the recent Playtime "Cointiply Playtime Is A Massive Coin Generator" which is a unique a very prolific way to earn coins. The Cointiply app can be downloaded from the Google Play store, or via my referral link http://cointiply.mobi/sEpv.

1.4 Promo Code

From time to time, Cointiply drops promo codes via their Twitter or Facebook accounts. Entering these promo codes usually earns you 99 coins if you are among the first few hundreds to claim. Of course, one claim per user.

Some promo code are always active, here are some of them: WELCOME, INTHELOOP, MORECOINS, OFFICIALFACEBOOK, LOYAL_10, LEVEL_UP_2 (only valid at level 2), and LEVEL_UP_7 (only valid at level 7).

1.5 Cashing Out

Cash out and withdrawing your coins is a very important function. It has always been very smooth, easy and fast with Cointiply. All my funds were always transferred to my wallet under 48h, most of them under 24h.

Until recently, only Bitcoin and Dogecoin were available for withdraw. As of May 2021, Litecoin and Dash were added as crypto options. 10,000 coins is always worth $1.00. When you perform a withdraw the $ value of your coins will be converted to your chosen cryptocurrency. And as always, there's no fee!

Withdraw minimal amounts are as follow:

  • 50,000 coins for Bitcoin
  • 30,000 coins for Dogecoin, Litecoin and Dash

To withdraw, go to the menu under "Activity & Payment" or under your profile (far right of the page). You can also have access to several details including the status of the transfer and withdraw history.

1.6 The 5% Annual Interest

As long as you keep 35,000 coins in your balance, Cointiply offers to pay a 5% annual interest rate. Interest are collected weekly (sometime between Sunday and Monday). To collect these, you have to activate it. Simply go to your profile settings and "enable" 5% annual interest (turn the nob to right, it becomes red).

This being said, as nice as these 5% seem they should not be an incentive leave a mountain of coins on Cointiply. Remember that these are 5% annually on the $ value. The value of Bitcoin has been increasing by way more than 5% annually since inception. You would be much better off converting your coins ($) in Bitcoin almost as soon as possible. In the long run you will be making way more than 5% annually.

Trying to take advantage of bull/bear market to keep your coins in $ or BTC is the same a day trading and trying to time the market, you'll never win in the long run.

1.7 Leveling up

Levelling up happens automatically as you earn "Cointipoints". You earn Cointipoints automatically as you earn coins, 10 coins =1 Cointipoints. As of July 2021, the only utility of leveling up is to unlock more equippable and consumable item slots, which in turn can be used to boost your earnings. More on this below in the Cointivity, Pods & Boost Items section. Level 71 is the ultimate level you want to reach as it unlocks the last equippable item slot. From memory I think level 67 unlocks the last consumable item slot.

After that, the levels are worth nothing and are only a reflection of how much you earned on Cointiply.

1.8 Referrals

As any other faucet, Cointiply has a referral system. If new users sign in using your referral code you will make earn a certain percentage of their earnings:

  • 25% of their faucet earnings
  • 10% of their offer earnings

As I explained in one of my articles "Cointiply Referrals - Are They Making You Any Money?", unless you find the one referral who is going to crush it and complete survey after survey, referrals won't bring you much coins. But free coins are free coins!

If you haven't sign up to Cointiply yet, I'll be grateful if you use my referral link: http://cointiply.com/r/01K23

This where you land when you go to Cointiply from a desktop computer. Cointiply front page has a lot to offer, it can easily be confusing and intimidating at first. No less than 3 types of menus can be found on that page. They overlap to some extent so that you can find what you are looking more easily.

All menus will lead you to earn coins one way or another. The top menu has all the information you might be looking for regarding activities, withdraw, promo code, profile, PTC ads and help/guide. Clicking on the "Dashboard" menu will bring you back Home.

The left menu contains all the hot action menus: your Cointivity profile, the Faucet and link to different ways to earn coins. It's a digested and simplified version of all the options you can find in the top menu. Right on top of that menu is the Chat, this is where you need to click for the Chat Rain Pool.

If you scroll down enough you'll find the "Bottom" menu. An alternative way to access different part of the website, including the Multiplier, Videos and PTC ads.

In the center of this front page you'll find Cointiply news and on going general promotions, as well as some "Featured Offers".

As mentioned in The Fundamentals, the faucet is the basic feature of Cointiply (and of any crypto faucet). In the US, you can claim it once per hour. The coin reward will vary depending on your luck, your Cointiplier multiplier and Loyalty level.

Roll, solve the Captcha, and see how many coins you just won - anywhere from a dozen coins to 420 coins, which can be doubled with 100% loyalty. These coins will only take a few a seconds to earn but it's only pennies compared to what you can earn through offers and surveys on Cointiply. Even being in the US (meaning max possible earnings with the Faucet), with 100 % loyalty and a Cointiplier around 1.90x at all time, my faucet earnings represent less than 5% of my daily average earnings.

Your Cointiplier, the gauge visible to the right of the faucet window, is a multiplier number that can fluctuate between 1.0x and 2.0x. Everyone starts with a Cointiplier of 1.5x and if you maintain even very minimal activity on the site you should remain at least at 1.5x. The more active you are on Cointiply (meaning your earn a lot of coins) the higher your Cointiplier. I'm usually between 1.85x and 1.95x with earnings from offers averaging 10k-50k coins per day. To be at 2.0x, it usually takes me to earn over 100k coins per day.

If you roll a 99,999 you win the Jackpot! The minimum amount will always be 100,000 coins. I'm not sure I have seen more than 600,000 coins in the Jackpot before a user wins it. Given the odds, even winning 600,000 coins doesn't seem that impressive compared to what you can pull of from surveys if you give them a good try.

If you scroll down on the Faucet page, you'll see where you are at with your loyalty.

Your Loyalty is an added bonus to your faucet claims, it increases by 1% every day if you claim your faucet at least once per day. The maximum is 100% which will double your faucet gains. Miss one day and your loyalty goes back to zero.

The Multiplier is the gambling chamber of Cointiply. You can access it via the faucet page and it will lead you to that page with a "planet" and a menu with a few betting options - Multiply Your Coins! Or lose them all since this in the end this a gambling game.

You can chose how many coins you want to wager, from 10 coins to your all stack of coins (3 million coins seem to be the cap, if you really wanted to gamble $300). Once you start the game you have 11 targets (small white circles) to chose from, one at a time.

Reveal a Red gem and you multiply your wage and have the option to keep playing, or take your prize and leave. If you reveal a grey gem you lose it all and the game is over. Starting with x1.4 for your first win, you can go as high as x61.3 if all 11 gems are red and you decide to go for it.

This is a simple game of odds, and they are not in your favor. The only time I played the multiplier was to take these screen shots, I lost 20 coins...

Let's start off here by debunking a myth/misconception as this is one of the most common question from new users on the chat "How do I make money chatting?"

The answer is: There's no money to be made chatting, not a single coin!

The chat is only for chatting. Nonethelss, the Chat Rain Pool is one of coolest features on Cointiply. The way I think of it, the Chat Rain Pool is a tip on top of your regular earnings. Like a tip, the amount you'll get, e.g. your share of the pool, will be proportional to the work you've done before. The only caveat is that you have to claim it, again and again throughout the day. Each Chat Rain Pool cycle lasts 30 to 45 minutes.

I wrote no less than 3 articles about Chat Pool Rain - "Cointiply Chat Rain Pool - Make it Rain!", "Making the Most of The Cointiply Chat Rain Pool", and "A New & Easy Way Qualify For The Cointiply Chat Rain Pool"

Claiming your share of the pool is easier than ever, 2 clicks and you're done. It used to be more tedious and up until December 2020 you had to write a "positive" sentence in the chat to be part of a given pool.

The chat is in the top left corner of your Cointiply page (or in the menu options, then "Chat & Earn", of the mobile app). It's always up, from any page of the site. Click on "Start Chatting" then "Click to Qualify for Rain Pool". The little dot next to "Current Rain Pool" should turn green (from red). While the green light, indicating that you are qualified for a pool, appears almost instantly, you may have to wait a minute or two to actually see your share of the pool be different from 0.00%. If you jump in a pool to close to its end you may not get a share, try again next pool!

If you only claim your faucet and click a few PTC ads your shares will never be more than a fraction of a percent, typically around 0.05%. Earn coins with surveys and offers and your share will now hoover around 1%-2%, effectively earning you hundreds of coins each pool that you qualify for.

Finally, during Cointiply special events (such as those we've seen during Halloween, Christmas, etc...) Cointiply inflates the regular Chat Rain Pools to Huge Chat Rain Pools where each pool can yield thousands of coins per share. This is when you really want to take advantage of the Chat Rain Pool. In this article "Cointiply - Snow Piling For One Week, How Big?" I showed how I made over 67k coins in 1 week just with the Chat Rain Pools during the Christmas 2020 special.

Don't leave money on the table, collect your shares of the Chat Rain Pool!

Boost items are a critical feature of Cointiply you need to know about. If there was one thing I would want readers and new users to remember from this guide is just that - Use Boost Items!!

Boost items exist in two forms - equippable items and consumable items. Their goal is to boost your earnings - for each coins you make through offers, surveys, videos and PTC ads (but not the faucet claims), you'll make few percent more. How much? Depending on your items you could make as much a 40%-60% more with 4 for equippable items and 8 for consumable items. If you earn 20,000 coins from surveys with no items, you could make these 24k-30k coins instead. On a regular basis and with 4 equippable items, that's 8%-16% more coins you could earn completing your favorite tasks on Cointiply.

Let me explain of this works, where to find your items, and how to use them. I wrote a more detailed article here "Cointiply Cointivity - Boost Your Earnings!", here is a summary version:

Everything you need regarding boost item is found in your "Cointivity Profile" in the left menu of the front page. In the Cointivity Profile page you have a summary of your levels, currents boosts and gains, and items. The Cointivity Profile menu also expands with 4 more options. In the "Inventory & Pods" menu you can see what you have in your inventory and most importantly you can buy pods.

Pods are the only place you will find items, 3 per pods, always. The rarity and effect of these items is highly variable. You can open consumable items and/or equippable items with equippable items coming at a lower frequency. 3 type of pods - Common, Uncommon and Rare - offer you different odds to obtain common, uncommon and rare items. You see that pods can be bought with either coins or Cointipoints. Between the different pods, the buying rates with coins/Cointipoints are not the same. It costs "more" Cointipoints to buy a Common Pods than a Rare Pods relatively to their coin price.

Once equipped, the boost from Equippable items is permanent and will work for every and any offer you complete. That's a straight forward concept to grasp, you want to fill your equippable item slots as soon as possible and with the best equippable items you have in stock - simple.

The boost of consumable items is temporary, as short as 1 hour, as long as over 72h. The best way to use your consumable items is to activate as much as possible of them at once and go into a survey spree and/or a Playtime session (see below). Complete as many offers as possible while your boosts are active. It's a good time to redeem you Hideout.tv points as well (see below).

Is it worth buying pods with coins? When to use your Cointipoints? In my opinion, Common pods are definitely worth buying with coins as you start building up your Cointivity profile, inventory and are leveling up. You want to grab equippable items as soon as possible in your Cointiply journey as the bonus boost will pay you back time and time again. If you know you'll be able to go for a 30-60 minutes survey session, the consumable items you'll pull out of your Common pods for 1,000 coins will likely repay these 1,000 coins in bonus. Even if the item quality is a little bit higher with Uncommon/Rare pods, getting 3 items for 1,000 coins is what you want at first. Even at high level, I buy Common pods from time to time to make sure I fill my 8 consumable item slots when going for a survey session.

Cointipoints are automatically earned as your earn coins, at the rate of 10 coins for 1 Cointipoints. I would recommend using your Cointipoints to buy Uncommon or Rare pods later in your journey to chase Uncommon and Rare items, to complete collections, and find the rare +4% equippable item. FYI I have been extensively using Cointiply for 10 months now, bought dozens of Rare pods and countless Uncommon pods, and haven't found 1 Retscan yet. Until recently I was buying Rare pods only with my Cointipoints in the hope of hitting a Retscan and because Cointipoints have a better "purchasing bargain" for Rare pods. But I changed my strategy lately and I'm now buying Uncommon pods to actually get more items per Cointipoints, even if I'm decreasing my chances to get a Retscan. More items means more consumable items available and also higher frequency to complete collections. Cointipoints don't have any other use to my knowledge, so use them as you get them, no reason to stock pile millions of Cointipoints.

One last word here on Collections. Combining 5 items will give you access to unique consumable items with unparalleled boost abilities. Once you have the 5 items of a collection you'll have the option to "lock" it. All 5 items will be removed from your inventory and you'll have a new consumable item available. I usually leave untouched one copy of each collection item.

There's no other way around, if you want to earn substantial amount of coins on Cointiply (or on any other crypto faucets) you have to complete surveys. On rare occasions a single offer or the top paying games in Playtime may generate more coins per minutes spent than surveys. Other than that, your bread and butter earnings will come from surveys. How much can you earn with surveys? It may depends on your geographic location and overall demographics (gender, age, job, etc...) but you should be able to net 20,000 to 30,000 coins per hour, without boost, if you are US-based.

Cointiply offers a very decent selection of survey providers, some better than others. TheoremReach and CPX Research are my favorites as they pay well, are very reliable and offer a little something if you get disqualified mid-survey. What matters the most when completing surveys is the reward/time ratio - in other words you want to be paid the most for the least amount of time. 500 coins per minute is the ratio I usually aim at. High paying surveys (>10k coins) can be hard to fully qualify for but the reward is well worth it when you get through. My personal best is 34,000 coins for a 12 minutes surveys via CPX Research. In most cases however, I'm earning 3k-5k coins for 5-10 minute surveys.

To find the surveys, click on the left menu "Earn Coins" then scroll down to find "Complete Surveys & Surveys".

15 survey providers are waiting for you here on the desktop version of Cointiply, only 6 are available on the mobile platform.

I'm not going to sugar-coat it, surveys are mostly boring, tedious and hard to qualify for at time, but that's the best wat to earn coins. "How to earn coins on Cointiply?" you asked? Do surveys. Again, and again. Faucet, PTC ads and Chat Rain Pool can earn you a few hundreds coins per day, maybe a few thousands if you are lucky and dedicated. On average, you'll make 10 times that amount in 30 minutes of surveys.

You can find more details, tips and tricks in my article: "Cointiply Surveys: Where The Money Is".

Playtime is a recent addition to Cointiply, introduced in April 2021. This feature is only available for Android mobile platform however. If you are not using Cointiply on your mobile phone, Playtime may convince you otherwise given that this feature is paying really well.

Playtime is finally a fun alternative to earn a significant amount of coins without having to complete boring surveys. The concept is very simple - play games, earn coins! The way Playtime works, when you pay a game you earn an increasing set amount of coins for every increasing amount of time spent in the game. The catch is that the coin reward increases linearly while the time needed to reach the reward increases more or less exponentially.

In practice, and taking as example the first and best paying game that was available to me - King of Avalon - I got rewarded 3.9k coins for the first minute of play. An incredible rate in deed. I had earned over 35k coins in my first 30 minutes with King of Avalon. The reward kept growing and so did the time block needed, but at a faster pace. In the end, I needed to play King of Avalon for ~8h to earn ~9k coins, far away from the initial 3.9k coins/minute. The ~8 hours time block seems to be the last one as I reached that landmark twice with 3 other different games. After that, the game is not available in Playtime anymore.

Several games are offered with different starting payouts, most of them at or under a starting payout of 1,000 coins/minute. The list of games is renewed/updated from time to time. In my opinion, anything above 200 coins/minute is worth opening, mainly because the trick is that you don't really have to play the games to earn the coins! Yes, you can absolutely leave the game open without touching it, let your phone go to sleep mode and still rake the rewards! Playtime is an amazing passive coin maker. I describe the ins and outs of Playtime in this article: "Cointiply Playtime Is A Massive Coin Generator".

Last but not least here, Playtime works as any other offers, meaning any active boost items will boost your Playtime earnings. Given the big pump of coins you might receive from the first top paying games you will try, don't forget to activate as many consumable items as possible.

Pay to Click Ads, or PTC Ads, or PTCs, are an easy way to quickly and reliably earn a few hundreds coins every day. It's a big favorite among new users as it only requires a few seconds per ads and can easily be done, especially on the mobile app, throughout the day during every downtime you have. The principle is easy, you watch a quick ads - 5 to 40 seconds - and select the right captcha to earn 6 to 40 coins.

PTC ads are accessible both on the desktop and mobile Cointiply platform. The mobile version is even easier to use in my opinion but both lead to the same PTC ads and the same overall rewards.

Going through all of them will take you 20-30 minutes for a total reward of ~300-500 coins per day at best. All PTC ads are refreshed at the end of the day at 12:00am UTC but new PTCs might pop out during day. Even if it is much easier to click through a bunch of PTCs the reward is at least one order of magnitude less (10x less) than the reward you could get by completing surveys in these same 20-30 minutes. If you have 20 minutes available, my advise is to maximize your time, and earnings, by doing surveys. Leave the PTCs for when you have 30 seconds to kill.

You can find a more about PTC ads, and about videos, in my article "Earning Coins With Cointiply PTC Ads And Videos".

In the same alley as PTC ads, watching videos is an easy but low source of coins on Cointiply. As far as I know there are two type of videos on Cointiply - short promotional videos and continuous videos.

Short promotional videos are only available through the mobile platform. In a lot of aspects they are just like PTC ads, you watch a short 10-15 seconds video and you get 12 coins. Every video, independently of their length, yields 12 coins and there's no captcha to solve at the end of the video, just close it (press the "X") and load another video.

More passive coins can be earned by watching Hideout.tv videos. Your Hideout.tv account will be directly linked to your Cointiply account if you come through the Cointiply link. Videos here are like your Youtube channels, just watch any of these and start earning as ads pop up. There is no limit to how much video you can watch here so leave it on as long as you can. If you are US-based, you can earn about 200 points every hour. Each points is worth ~6 coins on Cointiply when redeemed. I typically leave Hideout.tv videos run through the night and pretty much at any downtime.

The redeem process is very easy. Just click the "Redeem" button, select Cointiply and it will show you how many coins you should receive. Confirm and the coins will be instantly transfer to your Cointiply account. You can redeem your Hideout.tv points as soon as you want but waiting for larger amount of points has its advantage. Redeeming these points counts as completing an offer, which means boost items will work here! One of the best moment to redeem the Hideout.tv points is arguably during Cointiply special events, when you can get extra few percent.

I provide more details on how to earn coins with videos in this article: "Earning Coins With Cointiply PTC Ads And Videos".

While surveys, PTCs, Playtime and videos are recurrent sources of coins, Cointiply also offers of diverse panel of one-of offers to earn coins. These offers include signing up for services, creating new accounts for an apps/websites, play games up to a certain level and download anything and everything. The reward for these offers go from a few thousands coins to hundreds of thousands of coins! A good half of these offers however are only accessible for Android mobile platforms.

Many of these offers however are probably not worth it. For example, 5,300 coins to give all your private information to receive an "Auto Insurance Quote" doesn't seem very appealing. You might not be able to complete this offer with creating a fake identity as some phone number/email may need to be verified. Overall, this auto insurance offer is probably not worth the trouble.

Downloading and playing games up to a certain level, such as level 17 for King of Avalon and level 21 for State of Survival, offers rather substantial rewards - 204k coins. However, when you look at these games more closely you realize that it takes hours and hours of dedicated play to reach these levels. Based on my research, it's my understanding that it would take somewhere around 20 hours of play, and maybe even with a small in-game purchase, to reach level 17 in King of Avalon. Put in perspective, 10k coins per hour is actually well under my average rate when completing surveys. The only upside is that paying King of Avalon may be more entertaining.

On the other hand, the 825k coins offer with eToro looks very juicy, at least if there's no catch. Sure you need to open an account on an Android device with them and deposit $200. But as far as I can tell this seems to be $82 (plus potential boost) of pure profit. Just buy $200 worth of crypto and transfer that to another wallet afterward, and, yes maybe, cross your fingers that everything goes smoothly. It was tempting enough that I decided to go for it. Fortunately everything went according to plans and as the offer suggested.

Merely 3 hours after my initial deposit I was awarded the 825k coins, or $82.5. A week later I was able to transfer the Bitcoin I purchased into my own wallet. Earning such a big amount coins also came with a lot of added bonuses, including finishing at the very top of the daily leaderboard. If you want to know more about this offer and the hefty reward that comes with it read my article "Completing The eToro "Mega" Offer on Cointiply".

Overall, even with the promise of large rewards these other offers need to be looked at carefully on a case by case basis. You may have to commit a significant amount of time, or even cash, to claim the reward. Often enough the deal is no better than completing traditional surveys, that at least have the advantage of being broken down in much smaller time and coin increments. On the plus side, if this a service (sign up for Disney + or eToro account) you were looking for, or a game you intended to try, you might as well pocket a good chunk of coins in the process.

3 to 5 times per year Cointiply runs special events and contests. These events usually coincide with seasons and/or US holidays. In 2020 we have had an Halloween Special and a Christmas Special, and more recently this year (2021) we have had a Spring Special. These specials usually last 2 weeks and during these 2 weeks all users automatically enjoy a additional +7-10% boost on all their offer earnings.

On top of that, throughout the duration of the event, Chat Rain Pools become huge, 5x to 10x larger than the usual pools. During these events, it is common to see Chat Rain Pools reaching 100k-200k and this means that you can collect up to thousands of coins every pool, provided you are a little active by completing offers and surveys. I detailed in the article "Cointiply - Snow Piling For One Week, How Big?" how I earned over 67,000 coins from Chat Rain Pools in just one week during the 2020 Christmas Special.

If you were looking for a good time to complete a big offer and/or push for more surveys look no further, these 2-week events are the perfect opportunity to spend some extra hours on Cointiply. Practically speaking, the extra boost provided by these special events makes it the ideal time to redeem your Hideout.tv points as well. You can accumulate those points for months and redeem them all at once right at the end of the special event in, what I called a Cointiply Super Sunday: equip your best consumable items, redeem your Hideout.tv points stash, go on a survey rampage, claim big shares of these huge Chat Rain Pools, and don't forget let Playtime run.

Usually in parallel to these specials, Cointiply also runs special contests with cash reward and a big 1st place prize. Entering these contests is free and you have to complete a few easy tasks to earn more entries towards the final drawing. Even with a lot of entries your odds are slim, but it's completely free so take your chance!

This is a section of my guide I'm sure will interest a lot of Cointiply prospective and current users. In the end this what matters for all of us - how much can you make on Cointiply? Unsurprisingly, this is one of the first question asked on the Cointiply Chat by new users. The answer is actually not the same for everyone and depends on several factors. Everything else being equal, your worldwide geographic location will play a big role on the max earnings you can get on Cointiply. Unfair or not, this is unfortunately the way it.

Given the disparities in earnings based on your geographic location, everything I'll mention here is assuming your are US-based and have access to similar offers and surveys I have access to. Keep in mind that this earning scale is arbitrary and based on my own experience.

13.1 Minimalist User - Basic Earnings

If you stick to the minimal features of Cointiply - faucet, PTC ads and a few videos/Chat Rain Pools - and are not spending more time or resources, your earning will be rather limited. Let's assume you can get your faucet loyalty to 100%. Your multiplier however is likely to be stuck at 1.5x. Your faucet earnings will be about 20-30 coins per roll on average, or about 200-400 coins per day. Assuming you go through all your PTC ads every 24h, you should earn an additinoal 300-500 coins. Sprinkle a few short promotional videos and a few Chat Rain Pools (shares will be very small in this situation) and you can maybe add 100-200 coins per day to your total.

In summary, per day:

  • Faucet: 200-400 coins
  • PTC ads: 300-500 coins
  • Short videos and Chat Rain Pools: 100-200 coins

On average you can expect to rake 600-1000 coins per day, which will probably put your monthly earnings in the 2$-5$ range (or 20,000-50,000 coins). At that pace, you will level up very slowly and, in all likelihood, won't ever touch or use consumable/equippable items.

13.2 Casual User - Modest Earnings

From the basic the faucet/PTC ads duo, if you start adding a little bit of surveys, offers and Playtime, your earnings will increase very quickly. Your first Playtime sessions should yield an incredible amount of coins as you tackle the highest paying games. Even with only a few hours of Playtime per week (remember you can leave your phone idle while Playtime is running and continue earning) your earnings in your first few weeks should be in the 50k-200k coins range. After that, most games don't reward nearly as much as King of Avalon and your average monthly Playtime earnings are more likely to be in the 5k-20k range.

Completing a  few surveys will help grow your Cointiply bankroll. 15-20 minutes here and there, or a more dedicated 30 minutes every day, any amount of time on surveys will earn you more coins than all the Faucet rolls and PTC ads combined. Not all surveys pay high, and you won't qualify for all the surveys your attempt but earning 10k-20k coins per hour is well within reason, even for beginners. How many hours you can put in? That's up to you.

If you try to take advantage of more earning options, Hideout.tv can add a slow but constant stream of coins, maybe a few thousands coins every week. If you start tackling more offers/surveys, it could be good idea to capitalize on Chat Rain Pools, 50-100 coins per pool should be within reach.

Last but not least, as you get more involved in Cointiply you probably should start openings pods, equip items as you find them, and use consumable items as you see fit. As your level goes up you can equip more items and use more consumable items at the same time. In the long run, both types of items boost your earnings and can mean a difference of several thousands of coins per month compare to users not using any items.

In summary, per day:

  • Faucet/PTC ads/Short videos: 700-1,200 coins
  • Playtime: 2,000-10,000 coins
  • Surveys: 5,000-20,000 coins
  • Others: 500-5,000 coins

As you see, the earnings range is quite wide here. It all comes down to your amount of spare time and level (for access to boost). Good day, bad day, more hours, less hours, you can anticipate to earn 5,000 to 30,000 coins per day. You start seeing here that the earnings from Faucet/PTCs only represent a minor part of your earnings. Your dedication and consistency will make the difference between the low or the high end of the range. Monthly, casual users can earn anywhere from $5 to $50 a month (50,000 to 500,000 coins).

13.3 Advanced User - Strong Earnings

A that level, Faucet and PTCs are just a distraction, a drop in the ocean. The vast majority of your earning will come from surveys, the only sustainable and consistent way to earn high amounts of coins on Cointiply. By dropping 30 minutes to 2 hour of surveys every day you can probably make 150k to 200k coins per week this way. With more practice you'll learn to cruise faster through surveys (especially by expediting demographics questions), select the right ones, and quickly jump from different survey provider if needed. 20k-30k coins per hours is a good average to earn with surveys.

Maximizing your earnings also means maximizing your passive earnings. As much as possible your want to have Hideout.tv videos playing in the background and a game running on Playtime on your mobile device. Once you have exhausted the high paying (>1k coins for the first minute) games on Playtime, the rewards are not as juicy but worth letting them run while you don't need your phone. Combined, these two passive earning methods can yield about 2k-3k coins per day.

While still small change, if you earn tens of thousands of coins via offers every day your shares of the Chat Rain Pool will get larger and you might as well claim them as often as possible - 100 to 300 coins, 15 to 20 times a day, that's better than the faucet.

But most of all, reaching level 71 and above means that you have access to 4 equippable item slots (and are using them) and 8 consumable item slots. With your equippable items you should get at least a permanent 10-12% earning bonus, which should easily earn you thousands of coins every day. In addition, you can significantly boost your earnings by using your consumable items when going through long survey sessions, redeeming a big stack of Hideout.tv points or running high paying games on Playtime - or doing all 3 at the same time! With 8 consumables items you usually add +20% to your earnings.

Not only completing more offers and surveys earn you more coins but making full use of boost items gives you and additional edge. The earning difference between casual users and advanced users can be quite large.

In summary, per day (and without boost from items):

  • Surveys: 10,000-60,000 coins
  • Playtime: 3,000-20,000 coins
  • Hideout.tv: 1,000-2,000 coins
  • Faucet/PTCs/Chat Pool Rain: 2,000-3,000 coins
  • Other offers: 0-825,000 coins (very variable here)

With well-timed boost items advanced users can earned "large" (it's all relative I know) amount of coins every month on Cointiply. Surveys, and surveys with good use of consumable items, can make wonder for your beer money wallet. Starting in April 2021, Playtime has been a great addition, and an incredible coin generator, for Cointiply users willing to download and "play" a few games on their mobile device.

Overall, on a monthly basis an advanced user could earn 500,000 to 2,000,000 coins, or $50 to $200. On that arbitrary user-scale I created (feel free to disagree) I would consider my self an advanced user on the high end of the range mentioned above. My monthly earnings fall around $160 on average, especially since April and the launch of Playtime.

13.4 Hard Core User - Maximal Earnings

A Cointiply hard core user would check all the boxes of an advanced user and would then push the envelop even further. It's not that Cointiply is a fulltime job but at that level of dedication most of your leisure time goes into Cointiply. You need to be level 71 or higher and have at least +12% earning boost from equippable items and make constant use of consumable items. Here is how it should work:

The vast majority of your earnings will come form completing surveys. Every day you put up a minimum of 2h to 3h of surveys, morning, afternoon and evening, week days or weekends, and jumping from one survey provider to another. Long survey sessions (>1h) make it ideal for using consumable items and boost further your earnings. Completing that many surveys will earn you a good amount of Cointipoints. In turn you can use these Cointipoints to buy more pods, get more consumable items and boost your earnings again - it's a virtue cycle. At a this level, a hard core user is constantly using 6 to 8 consumable items. Making 100k coins per day is routine and you might even be able to break in the daily leaderboard top 10 on a regular basis when redeeming Hideout.tv point or after a long and rewarding survey session.

On the side, Playtime and Hideout.tv are always running and accumulating coins day and night. However the 10-20k coins generated here are merely a tip compared to your survey earnings. Note that rolling your faucet, clicking PTCs and even claiming Chat Rain Pool shares are almost useless at this point, barely a drop in the ocean. Of course you don't want to miss any specials and added bonuses Cointiply may want to offer.

In summary, per day (and without boost from items):

  • Surveys: 50,000-200,000 coins
  • Playtime/Hideout.tv: 10,000-20,000 coins
  • Other offers: 0-825,000 coins (very variable here)

With earnings constantly on steroids thanks to consumable boost items, Cointiply hard core users could contemplate monthly gains between $200 and $500 (2M to 5M coins), sporadically even more when 2-week long special events occur.

In this last section of my guide I just wanted to share with your my approach to Cointiply and what I routinely do to get to ~$160/month. For starter, the first thing you need to do is to reach level 71. This is only at level 71 and above that your can earn the most, thanks to the 4th and last slot for equippable items. You can work just as hard but you will simply make less at level 1 than at level 71+.

To climb fast, my advice is simple: do as many surveys as possible and buy Common pods with coins (yes use 1,000 coins). This will allow you to find your first(s) equippable item(s) and use the consumable items to boost a little bit your earnings.

Day in day out, here is my week day Cointiply routine. In the morning, from wake up and while getting ready to go to work I usually launch Hideout.tv on my desktop computer (and turn it off only when leaving for work). I usually do 20-30 minutes of surveys while taking my coffee and breakfast. Sometimes I only make a few thousands coins, sometimes I make over 20k coins if I'm lucky with high paying surveys with CPX Research. If I have any down time I left Playtime run on my phone.

During the day, while at work, I run Playtime almost all the time. Depending on the games available, I earn anywhere from a few hundreds to a few thousands. I'm claiming faucet and Chat Rain Pool shares as often as possible throughout the day, on a cell phone it's very easy. Often during lunch time I try to complete a few more additional surveys for a few thousands additional coins.

My evening routine is a little bit more variable. About every other day I'm slowly and casually completing surveys will watching TV or movies. Sometime I know I'll have about an hour for myself before going to sleep, if I'm in a mood for surveys I'll use 8 consumable items and do my best to earn as much as possible during 45 to 90 minutes. Finally, I also let run Hideout.tv through the night.

I usually don't do much on weekends outside of running Playtime and Hideout.tv as I spend more time with my family and do house choirs.

Finally, about once a week in the morning, I use my best consumable items to redeem my Hideout.tv points, do a little bit of surveys and finish reward blocks for games on Playtime that I have stopped at ~1-2 minutes the days before (so that you earn all of the coin rewards of many games within a few minutes).

This type of routine is enough to earn me $120-$180 every month.

Cointiply is arguably the best crypto faucet out there, paying in Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Litecoin and Dash. Cointiply had been around for over 3 years and has always pay its users in a fast and reliable fashion. The site offers numerous ways to earn coins, from a handful to almost one million. Cointiply may seem intimidating at first but I hope this piece of writing offers some guidance.

Several Cointiply features like Pods, boost items and the Chat Rain Pool that may be misunderstood and underestimated but they can actually significantly boost your earnings. These are often left out by new users and I have actually even seen several "experienced" and high level users not having a single equippable item on, such a loss.

At the end of the day, and despite many options to earn, the amount of surveys you complete will dictate how much crypto you'll bring home. That's truly the only way to consistently earn coins in large quantities.
