"Ambitious": a true, but common label attached to the start of many great projects. Recently, I have had the opportunity to come across MUSC which is a cryptocurrency soon to be released on presale (15/08/21).
Mark your calendars. Trust me, you don't want to miss this one.
I rarely get excited by new crypto projects; it seems new ones come along every day to saturate the market. After all how can you be so sure to distinguish the scams and rug pulls from the genuine projects that deserve your attention? Well one way to find a trustworthy one is where the launch is on a reliable platform; in this case, the SpaceSeed Launchpad. What is Muslim Coin (MUSC) and What is it used for?
Okay let's first destigmatise the concept:
It's no secret that there are bad actors and cruel, unjust groups that leverage the anonymity of blockchain and crypto for malicious intent.
Then there's Sharif (CEO), Pierre-Etienne (CTO: SpaceSeed), Arthur (COO), and their team, who through open-mindedness and cross-faith collaboration can deliver a project that has practical value and no malintent.
Then there's those that make the latter group's work harder, and the former's easier by propagating stigmas on someone else's religious group. Just like the "warning" that I had to put at the top of this post, the end result is impediment towards our ability to act, think, and write freely due to misbranding.
But no more: It is time to destigmatise the concept and realise the unique and powerful potential of Muslim Coin.

The Use
The team invites everyone, regardless of faith, to participate in a project that truly incentivizes a large demographic. First it is important to understand the Islamic concept of Zakat. It is summarised below:
- It is an obligation for Muslims who meet a necessary income threshold to donate a portion of their wealth to the homeless and underprivileged. This can be through other charitable causes too.
- Many treat it as a form of purification of excess wealth. It also makes Muslim communities in countries such as the United Kingdom, the largest donating demographic.
- Zakat is calculated as roughly 2.5% or 1/40 of a person's total savings or wealth for a year.
- Not everyone owes Zakat, such as children and dependents or anyone below the threshold minimum requirement
MUSC Revolutionizes this...
This is a major selling point for the currency as "Muslim Coins tokens are carrying within, embedded in their code, the possibility to exercise one’s zakat simply by using the tokens. Through a simple line of code, 2.5% of all transactions will be taken and converted into classical currency, then reversed to the associated NGO or charity of one’s choosing, whether it be the Islamic Relief Organization, the Red Crescent, Muslim Aid, and so on... That function will also be enabled when the Muslim Coins credit card will be developed, allowing one to make a direct zakat when using the card in any situation" (Whitepaper, MUSC).
That's big. It's even more noteworthy that they are introducing the credit card which will likely provide access to the 1.8 billion who faithfully abstain from engaging in certain interest-bearing activity. To provide these facilities gears it up for the same success that Islamic banks enjoy in the Muslim World.

Is MUSC a good investment?
Let me put it like this: buying the tokens on presale, for 0.035USDT, and holding till the listing with 0.05USDT, will put you up by about 166% already. That is powerful. So powerful, that they have had to cap the maximum buy to 3BNB worth so as to sufficiently decentralise the holdings into enough wallets. After all, they are a qualified team that are not aiming to scam you through the rug pull tactics of crypto scams.
