2. CRO
Crypto.com Chain is yet another project launched by the Hong Kong-based payment and cryptocurrency platform company CRYPTO.COM (also known as “CRO Protocol Labs”). The Chain has its own Crypto.com Chain (CRO) Token which is supposed to allow the users to make cryptocurrency payments to as many globally available merchants as possible. This is to be done by making the CRO an intermediary currency which will allow for the conversion of cryptocurrencies to their fiat counterparts at much reduced cost. By this, the Crypto.com team hopes to combine the token’s global ambition with the adoption support inspired by real-life use cases.
Crypto.com Chain is supposed to offer high scalability and fast payment processing. The Chain is designed as the payment network which aims to offer immediate payment confirmations while also supporting scaling in line with an increasing number of transactions. With the help of its decentralized protocol for transaction processing, the target confirmation time on the Crypto.com Chain is set at being less than one second, while the platform promises to support 50,000 transactions per second.
As the name of the internet domain, crypto.com was originally registered in 1993 by cryptographer Matt Blaze. Following the cryptocurrency boom which made the domain name a highly desirable asset, Blaze repeatedly refused offers to sell it, at least until the team from the Hong Kong-based Monaco approached him and eventually bought the name from him back in 2018.
The CEO of Crypto.com is Kris Marszalek, a business veteran who also served as the CEO of Ensogo, a social commerce company and the founder of Beecrazy (an e-commerce company).

3. VeChain
Meta-transaction features native to VeChain Thor blockchain’s core protocol, such as multi-party payment, multi-task transaction, controllable transaction lifecycle, transaction dependency, make the development more user-friendly for enterprise adoption.
Controllable Transaction Lifecycle
With BlockRef and Expiration transaction fields, users can set the time when transaction is processed or expired if not being included in a block.
Fee Delegation
Flexible transaction fee delegation schemes (Multi-party Payment and Designated Gas Payer) enable a freemium model within a decentralized application to onboard users without friction.
Multi-task Transaction (MTT)
Multi-function atomic transactions allow developers to batch payments, add multiple calls to different contract functions into one transaction and determine their sequence.
Transaction Dependency
Set dependencies to ensure the execution order meets the business need, transactions that specify a dependency will not be executed until the required transaction is processed.
VeChain’s VTHO represents the underlying cost of using VeChain and will be consumed after certain blockchain operations are performed. The function of VET is to serve as a value-transfer medium, or in other words, smart money, to enable rapid value circulation within the ecosystem based on VeChain. VET is also awarded to network nodes that help facilitate the ecosystem via their operation as a form of incentive. These economic nodes are not part of the consensus model (see below) and are expected to act as a stabilizing component of VeChain.
The system is designed in such a way that VTHO is generated automatically by holding onto VET tokens. In other words, whoever holds VET will be given VTHO for free and be able to use VeChain for free as long as the operations performed consume less than the VTHO generated. The VTHO tokens can be transferred and traded to allow users to acquire extra VTHO for performing larger scale of operations such as running applications hosted on the VeChain Thor blockchain.
