Dapper's NBA Top Shot has had many of its own moments between the explosive ROI growth for early adopters and the sick highlights themselves.
Some that stand out have been the almost equally exciting slew of third party projects and tools that have been built atop Top Shot's exposed Flow blockchain.
Without further ado, here are 10 of my favourite free third-party tools that I've been using so far:
10. Topshot Explorer - First look at new mints
Be the first to know what the latest moments minted are before pack drop lists and challenge rewards are officially announced.
9. Flow Market Cap - All things market cap
Like Coin Market Cap but for Top Shot moments. View changes in market cap over the last 24 hours of individual moments, sets, or players.
8. FiveThirtyEight - NBA analytics
This one's not strictly a Top Shot tool, but provides analysis and prediction of NBA player and team performance, which can serve as another way to assess and notice discrepancies with moment market values.
7. Transaction LEDGER - Keep track of your purchases and sales
This is just a simple spreadsheet I cooked up for those who want a better handle over their transactions as the Top Shot addictions spins out of hand and it gets hard to remember who what when and how much. Make a copy and fill away!
6. Moment Ranks - Valuations that account for serial numbers
Unlike with cryptocurrency, market cap and floor prices don't tell the whole story. Moment Ranks attempts to tell a more complete story with estimations on each serial number of a moment, accounting for first, last, and jersey mints.
5. CryptoSlam - Detailed marketplace and blockchain data
View detailed listings and sales transaction information, with links to raw ledger data on the blockchain. Flow don't lie.
4. Rookshot - All things rookies
All the stats you want to know and keep track of when it comes to rookie moments: relative performance and prices over time, who's getting which rookie badges, and more.
3. Swyysh - Fantasy basketball with your moments
Technically not a tool, this is a weekly fantasy NBA league you can sign up for with your Top Shot moments with prizes (more Top Shot moments) going to the top 10 entries. A crypto/NFT use case beyond just speculation/flipping/collecting and the chance for free moments? It's an easy sign-up.
2. Top Shot Helper - Extension helping you sort by price
Frustrated with all the scrolling you have to do to compare prices and make quick snipes? This chrome extension allows you to sort listings by price instead of serial number. It now even highlights lower serial numbers as well, giving you a fighting chance against what bots still trawling the marketplace.
1. Evaluate Market - A bit of everything
Probably the best all-in-one tool out there now to assess your overall account valuation and profits, check price movements on moments and sets, and even look at the ratio of owned moments to those still in packs, and how many are selling at floor price. If you just want one triple-threat, this looks like it for now.
