One of the largest digital payment companies in the world made clear its intention to boost the digital asset industry and be part of the financial revolution that cryptocurrencies have proven to be.

Visa's Crypto Asset Director Cuy Sheffield announced Visa's “ambitious crypto product plan” in a tweet, calling on software engineers interested in contributing their expertise to the company.

Sheffield spoke about the need to recruit engineers to "help us drive adoption of blockchain networks and stablecoin payments."

Sheffield linked to an official Visa page about the possible engineering position. In it, Visa stated that its Crypto Team is “building the next generation of products to make commerce easier in everyone’s digital and mobile lives.”

The post claimed that the team is poised to “build intuitive features that expose deep new value for our customers.” While requesting engineers with extensive experience and passion for "Web3 technologies".

Reports earlier in the year noted that Visa was among several companies that were pausing their development of crypto solutions, due to a lack of regulatory clarity for the sector in the United States. However, it appears that the advances have not hindered the development of blockchain technology by the company.
