So what is the point of this article? I will tell you right now. It is me ranting on regarding the interactions between FIAT lovers and Crypto Heads.
If you are reading this I am sure you come across FIAT lovers everyday. If you are like me it is very hard to not say anything when someone gets upset about their stocks. This we can all agree on. I mean if they put in $100 in $MANA just a year ago they would have made $1,400.00 but whatever, they dont seem to care.
Conformity to the old social norms / current social norms is expected. During my 7 years exp. in Crypto I have seen it all, we still have crypto anarchists running about somewhere. My point being is that we are only around 3% adoption still. Yes we are changing the way people think about money but not at a fast enough pace. We must get the future Blockchain minded brain powered up instead of the old hardwired USD trust the government brain.
Here is an example of what I tell people when they say FIAT is better:
Me: Who makes your paper money / controls it? Do they follow the rules? Do you trust them?
FIAT person: YOU WILL RUIN ME IF I BELIEVED YOU!
END. That friend blocks me on facebook.
So. What we have to do is start telling stories so they will get the just of it. For example a USD is a NOTE which is technically an IOU, just like the one we used to give our parents as children. (Them knowing we weren't good for it)
