Being a writer sucks, you have to be a masochist, I kid you not.
Also, I have to be as good with the editing as I can possibly be as there's NO Publisher involved...it's ALL on me to get it right.
That said, I've spotted more than a few errors in Professionally-Edited novels and books...just to say. lol
It's a bit tricky as enough detail has to be given for the mental theatre to really grab on to...but too much detailing slows things down and actually interferes with the reader's experience...like a film jam in an old style movie projector.
So, I am being careful, and it takes time. But Book Two is in the works and coming along.
Crypto purchase portals for my works is an ongoing search but the more I search, I can see that I am closing in on the solution.
I wanted such from the outset as I am a staunch supporter of Crypto and it's enormous potential for 'little guys' like me and the vast multitudes like me be they writers, backyard mechanics, freelance artists, etc, etc ad-infinitum.
For writers, and so many other people as well, this is an age where we can finally and truly step out on our own with no industry puppet-strings getting in the way, or stealing from us.
If you know anything about Publishers, most of them pay--absolute TOP level--20%, though it's usually 12%.
Imagine working at a job where you only get 12% of what's properly due to you on your paycheque.
However, there's ARE Exceptions, few and far between, but they exist, however they are smaller companies, so that balances things out as you don't the kind of exposure you do with the Industry Boys...which you pay blood through the nose for.
Then...
...along comes Crypto.
The great game-changer, and a serious opportunity for the liberation of writers so we can keep the majority of our earnings, engage better with our audience and fans, and overall it becomes a better situation for authors and audience.
NO Publisher.
No middlemen.
Writer-to-Audience.
More than a few of the Industry publishing houses are freaking out because why should we authors accept 20% when we can rightfully claim the more-appropriate 80%-plus of our earnings and all it takes is a bit more work for us, and in doing so we become more self-reliant, self-confident, and learning about the Cryptosphere is also fun...and affords additional opportunities.
Cryptocurrency is having the same effect on authors and Literature as the Printing Press did., at minimum.
Liberation and betterment of the situation.
