Tumbling Ahead. "If They Didn't Kill You With Covid, They'll Do It in a War..."

We live in a fucked up world. We've been probably be doing that for decades, or centuries, but now that feeling feels more vibrant and cold at the same time. It's like it was all planned, as soon as covid seemed to be coming to an end... we've got a war going on, sending oil prices to the sky, causing unrest in the markets and affecting the lives of millions around the world.

Even if you're not directly involved with the war, you still have to suffer due to this event taking place, just go and fill your tank and you will for sure pay more than you did last month for gas/diesel, no matter where in the world.

There are individuals around the world that are desperately searching for iodine, cuz it seems it's good in case of a nuclear war and there are also rich fellows getting more and more interested in doomsday bunkers. I hope none of these will be needed in my life time, but that's what people do lately...

Buy iodine and bunkers.

"Typically, I'll sell between two and six shelters a month - and usually winter is a quiet time for us. But I sold five units alone on Thursday, and I've sold two more already today - there's no telling how many more [orders] we will get. The phone hasn't stopped ringing, and we've been sending out so many quotes."

I've gotten inquiries from Italy. I've gotten an inquiry from the United Kingdom, from Denmark, from Japan, from Canada, from the USA - and that's just from over the weekend. The interest isn't just isolated to the US, it's everywhere."

-Gary Lynch, the general manager of Texas-based Rising S Co.

Not all of us are afraid of the war, though, as Foreign Volunteer Fighters Arrive In Ukraine From All Over The World. It is supposed that "16,000 individuals", mostly veterans or experienced fighters have joined forces with Ukraine in fighting Putin. Now, I'm not saying that we shouldn't help Ukraine, but adding military forces to that war is simply  ;) gas on the fire.

"The mad man" will see this ultimately as a coalition to fight him and I wouldn't be amazed if he'd start a word war, although I doubt he has the resources to do that, but lets not forget Hitler. Ukrainians are the ones needing to flee the country, but Russians, who most of them highly disagree with the war are feeling the pain as well, as they're "demonetized", and all sort of international banking services are restricting them.

"So PayPal has stopped working in Russia today and Twitch will no longer pay Russian streamers. Thank you very much for cutting my only source of income. I am sure this will solve all of the world's problems."

That comes from a Russian lady who seems to have been making a living with Twitch and now getting herself into a gloom situation when it comes to her personal finances thanks to Vladimir's giant ego.

Russian banks may begin issuing credit cards with China’s UnionPay after Visa and Mastercard announced the suspension of their Russian operations due to the invasion of Ukraine, according to media reports citing the Russian central bank

Duh... It was clear that Russia won't simply be staying and watch its country getting sanctioned and "frozen" by external powers. There are talks of Russia and China trying to "de-dollarize the world", but so far they haven't achieved that, as the US dollar is on the rise against plenty of currencies around the world, my national one included.

Such crises like the one with Russia and Ukraine are typical events that both divide the people and create pain amongst the direct participants of the war, but at the same time unite them. Plenty around the world have shown support towards Ukrainians, donating money and crypto, welcoming them as immigrants and doing their best for these in need.

Hopefully, it is now extremely obvious that Europe should restart dormant nuclear power stations and increase power output of existing ones.

 to national and international security.

Elon Musk has a point here. During such times, thinking of the impact on the environment of nuclear power plants is useless. Especially when you take into account how reliant is the west on Russia's oil and gas products. The gas price is literally increasing daily in here and it seems to have no roof.

But, Bitcoin is a safe haven

Well, yes and no... So far it hasn't proved that, but it definitely has the pedigree to achieve that. It is reported that transactions volume for crypto in Ukraine has more than tripled in the past week. Whether bitcoin will be able to become "sound money", as Michael Saylor already sees it, remains to be seen, but we don't have much prospects at hand. I see that gold is soaring lately, but I don't trust gold as much as I trust Bitcoin.

Putin is very sentimental, by the way...

Thanks for attention,
