Let me start with a short story from the largest democracy in the world: India!
India was one of the worst Covid hit countries in the world. Only vaccines could have prevented India from going into a big health crisis. So by mid January 2021, India started to roll out its vaccination program with two indigenously developed vaccines, Covishield and Covaxin. While Covishield was the exact copy of the AstraZeneca, Covaxin was completely Indian and new. The government agreed for rolling out Covaxin even when the 3rd phase trials were not completed. And it took even many months before the results were published, and guess what, this vaccine which was taken by millions of people still hasn't got WHO approval. Many Indians who work in other countries, who came to India during Covid crisis, took this vaccine and still couldn't go back. How bad is that!

I'm literally in awe of how blockchain technology can change the world for good, and how many classical modes of operation can be disrupted by it.
