There have been a few things pop up that I wanted to share with you all and I thought I would combine them into 1 article.

T-Mobile is killing its TVision program.

I will forgive for not knowing that they had their own TV streaming service. on Jan 23rd, 2018 T-Mobile bought Layer3 TV. It was supposed to give them the upperhand for when they released their own YouTubeTV type program. Well It took them a while but T-Mobile eventually released their own service. It was met with a lot of backlash from the TV industry because of how they were grouping together their channels. I will admit there was a time where I was tempted to jump on board but didn't.

Fast Forward to now and T-Mobile has announced they are killing off their TVision programs. What T-Mobile is going to offer going forward is YouTube TV and Philio. Basically they are offering their customers a $10 price reduction on either service for current T-Mobile customers. Will this bring over many new customers to T-Mobile just because you can get 410 off YouTube TV? Probably not. BUT it is a great perk for those who have T-Mobile and also have YouTube TV or Philio,

PayPal users in the US can now checkout with cryptocurrency

A while back PayPal made it possible to purchase certain cryptos. But at the time you really couldn't do anything with them lol. NOW when you checkout if you have enough BTC, LTC, ETH or BCH to pay for the whole purchase you can use them. You can't split up the amount between currencies which I would have expected anyways.

I would say this is HUGE news for people who want an actual way to spend their crypto. You may remember by adventure a while back using Shopping.io and it wasn't the easiest solution.

Judge rules in favor of Google in the Oracle lawsuit

This one has been going on for a while. Basically Oracle stated that Google violated it's copyrights in Android with its Java code. This is huge because if the Judges ruled in favor of Oracle, Google was going to have pay a metric ton of cash to Oracle. What the case boils down to is that Google used "a few lines of code" that enable 3rd party programmers to interface with Android. Google was directly using the code to make money by not using it's own source code. It gets really tricky but here is the Judge's description:

Google’s copying of the Java SE API, which included only those lines of code that were needed to allow programmers to put their accrued talents to work in a new and transformative program, was a fair use of that material as a matter of law.

LG is getting out of the Smartphone Business

LG has been around the block and I will be sad to see them go. I have a love hate relationship with LG. On one hand they made the Nexus 5, which I loved and used for 3 years easy. Then on the other hand I have a LG V10 which was also one of my favorites but suffered from #BootLoopGate. LG was a disaster at fixing their BootLoop issue and software updates. I guess you could have said the writing was on the wall because of that.

FakeBook got hacked....again

I hate Facebook, and if you are on the social media site then I highly suggest you delete your account and all associated data. If you need to keep your FakeBook account so you can see pictures of your family or friends I can show you how Google Drive works and it's "share" function.

In this "hack" there was data for 533 million users. 32 million were from the US, 11 million were from the UK. Guys how many times are we going to let this happen without doing anything about it? Facebook is too big to govern itself is my personal opinion. In the same breath I think a lot of big tech are too big to govern themselves as well and need to be broken up.

But TPL, "what data was actually stolen" you ask? Phone Numbers, Birth Dates, E-mail Addresses, Locations and other information that identifies you. So yeah I guess your right, it's worth getting all that information stolen so I can NOT talk to people from my High School.
