Publish0x has wormed its way into my heart and anchored itself to my daily routine. I spend an inordinate amount of time here; it’s just so much more interesting to learn about crypto from real humans. For instance, Fizzlstout broadens my mind with his thoughtful and thorough analyses of crypto firms' branding strategies; Hifi.Crypto puts together a comprehensive newsletter that deep dives into pertinent issues like central bank digital currencies to the Lightning Network to CipherTrace; and EsoterRick recommends useful resources that we can tap on to enhance our knowledge about crypto. I can probably go on and on because every author brings an unique dimension to the rich and vibrant tapestry that is Publish0x.
Hence, please consider this a wish list that the administrators of PUBLISH0X may adopt so that their brainchild can advance to the next level and become even more prevalent in our lives.
I have read a lot of articles about the tipping system and how the current way should be tweaked so that engaging authors can get paid more for their work. I totally agree that crypto remuneration will be a crucial factor in how committed authors are to the platform; after all, we all wish for Publish0x to emerge as THE definitive writing platform instead of yet another avenue to earn some crypto. I think there are many awesome articles published on a regular basis here. However, what can be done better is to promote these articles so that they go viral and are shared by members on their social media pages. Perhaps Publish0x can have a Spotlight Section in which well-received articles are stored and publicize these articles on its Twitter account. I think only when articles are read widely will potential sponsors come onboard and contribute heaps to the rewards pool. Some popular writers can have tie-ins with these sponsors and write articles that convey their use of crypto apps and platforms?
Of course, whether Publish0x wishes to cater to sponsorships in the first place is up for contention, but I have read articles from several media firms that are collaborative content with their sponsors. These articles are actually quite tastefully written and retain an objective voice of the author, so in my opinion, it is something that can be explored.
As an author here, I crave for interaction with fellow authors. Sometimes, an intelligent comment that makes me learn something new is enough to make my day. I feel that my work is being validated in this sense. However, it seems that not many people feel comfortable about commenting on others' articles. Hence, would it be possible for Publish0x to have a Discussion Forum in which we can post a question and await responses from fellow users? This can range from "What do you think of Altcoin X?" to "Critique my crypto portfolio". We can start small by having a Poll function so that people can select their desired option. Then when people get more used to vocalizing their opinions, we can encourage the discussion forum? Again, I believe that if we work together to enhance the quality of organic traffic on this site, the money will automatically follow.
Personally, I also hope to collaborate on writing with some of the talented authors first. To illustrate, perhaps we can have general themes like central bank digital currencies. I could provide the Singaporean perspective and work with someone from an European country who will provide an Eurocentric point of view. This article will encompass both the Eastern and Western ways of seeing the world. Seems like both the yin and yang are accounted for!
I have other suggestions in mind but let me test the waters with these two main ideas first. LOL.
