Hello, Satoshi clubbers Another AMA took place in Satoshi Club and we would like to introduce to you the AMA session with our friends from Poltergeist Exchange. Our guest was Daemon one of the founders of Poltergeist Exchange. The AMA took place on 7th February.
The AMA session was divided into 3 parts with a total crypto reward pool of 500$ + 700$ GHOUL.

Daemon: My name is Daemon, and I am one of the founders of Poltergeist Exchange.
We started working on the concepts and ideas for Poltergeist about 6 months ago, and have been working tirelessly at making our product the best. We released Poltergeist Exchange on January 31st

Daemon: Currently there are 4 others, but we are also hiring.
We are looking for 3 more very high end developers to join our team.

D. | Satoshi Club: can you share information about members of your team and their roles in project? are you public team or anonymous?
Gold Rocket | Satoshi Club: I hope you share your achievements with us.
Daemon: We are running a privacy coin exchange that does not collect user information, so our core team is anonymous, primarily for legal reasons.
In our new hiring, we are looking to bring on some team members who are not founders, and do not have to be anonymous.
Also we know anonymous teams can be an issue, so we have planned tons of security and verification measures to make sure everyone is always happy, and knows their funds are safe. We will be doing very regular public balance verifications etc.

The name of your project (Poltergeist Exchange) is similar to a project called GHOST, and coincidentally GHOST is listed on your platform. Is there any relationship between your platform and the listed tokens or is your platform planning to build its own token in the future?
Daemon: There is no relation with Poltergeist and GHOST outside of we contacted all the privacy coins we planned to list several weeks ago, and GHOST was one of the proejcts that was very happy to help cross promote their listing.
Verge, Beam, and others will be listed shortly, and will be helping with cross promo too!
We try to have relationships with all projects we are working with/listing, to help with marketing, as well as development updates, wallet issues, etc etc

Many people consider that in the future the DEX platform will be more popular than CEX due to security and privacy reasons. Why did you choose to build the CEX platform over DEX? do you have your own opinion regarding this?
Daemon: Our entire project is centered around our main net release on December 31st.
It will be a full cross chain privacy DEX like nothing else on the market.
We decided to start as a CEX to go ahead and begin growing the brand, reputation, and user base leading into our main net launch at the end of the year.

will you have plans to release another token for your DEX? or GHOUL will be the only one?
GHOUL will be the only one, but there will be a swap later this year from the ERC20 version to our Main Net version
will it affect total supply? in which proportion swap will be? 1:1?
Daemon: Swap will be 1:1 yes
The main net version is a fully custom proof of stake blockchain.
Users will be able to stake their GHOUL and earn staking rewards in addition to earning fees from the exchange.
Once the POS blockchain is launched, the supply will increase slowly overtime from generating the blockrewards. The emission will be a very small percentage yearly.
We will post all the exact info on this in March when we release our Main Net White Paper

You say: register and trade anonymously. But according to the Privacy Policy, you collect a lot of information about your users: from username and password to complete information about user funds! You explain this by the fact that we ourselves agree to the collection of information about us and it is needed for our protection from fraudsters.How is our data stored? How exactly is your system protected from intruders who can use my data?
Daemon: We like to collect as little information as possible on our users. All information in encrypted.
There is no name or anything like that needed when you sign up, and no KYC.
Pretty much your email address is all we really have on you, and we suggest using a different email address than your main email.
On our end, we employ the latest technolgy to make sure our products, and your funds and information are safe.
In our main net version, you will not need an email address or anything like that.
It will be a fully decentralized cross chain privacy dex

Daemon: Poltergeist does not have any geo restrictions but we always advise using a VPN no matter what you are doing online

and in terms of security, you done or will you planning to do an external code audit?
Daemon: One of our goals this year is to really educate users on privacy. How to stay private and secure online, when trading, and why its important.

Daemon: An internal audit on our current version of our exchange was done prior to release. We will be releasing a public one next month.
And for our main net product, we will be doing several audits from very reputable companies. The code in the main net product is much much much more complicated

I read that Ghoul holders get a 100% of the fee. Please tell me the number of Ghoul tokens I should hold for such a discount. If I have 1 token, will I get such a discount? And imagine a situation where all users have Ghoul and get 100% discounts. What funds will be used to maintain the exchange and then what is your profit?
Daemon: GHOUL holders receive 100% of all trading fees from Poltergeist Exchange.
Additionally, if you hold 10,000 GHOUL or more you will get reduced trading fees on our exchange.
The team has and is rasing money that will fund us through the entirety of our main net launch at the end of the year.
Once we move to our main net proof of stake blockchain, the dev fund will get a very small block reward each block to help with funding, as well as the GHOUL the dev fund already has.

Daemon: In addition to fee distribution, and trading discounts, GHOUL holders receive voting rights, future POS block rewards, and more!

A lot of tokens has been listed on Poltergeist Exchange this month, it says in your twitter that you’re a crypto currency exchange with a focus on anonymity and privacy coins, what are the requirements in order to list a coin to keep it anonymous and private?
Daemon: The only requirment is the project is privacy oriented and active.
We charge no fees for listing projects that qualify.
In addition to the coins we currently have listed, Verge, Monero, Grin, Beam, Zcoin, and a couple others are the next to be added
If anyone has suggestions of other privacy coins or projects they would like to see listed, feel free to suggest them in our Telegram
D. | Satoshi Club: if we with my mates will decide to create a privacy coin, will it be easy to get listing on your exchange? for the totally new and unfamous project?
Daemon: If you are a real, active project, YES it will be easy. Even if you are new.
Most privacy coins are custom blockchains that take a decent amount of time and resouces to get going and then because they are a custom blockchain exchanges want to charge addition fees for listing and maintaining it. It’s a big burden and we are going to lift that, and allow even new projects a very easy way to open up to a community of privacy oriented traders.

You already completed a private sale for GHOUL token, you will do a public sale in a week and the token will go live on Uniswap within 3 weeks, Poltergeist Exchange has already been launched, it is up and running. Seems like everything is on its way, therefore you plan to launch Poltergeist Mainnet at the end of this year. What items/functions will you move to your mainnet? How will you be handling those until the end of year? What new features will the mainnet bring?
Daemon: All of that is correct. We have been moving very quickly.
We sold out the GHOUL private sale in mid January, and launched Poltergeist Exchange on January 31st.

So our exchange right now is a centralized proof of concept version of what we are building. We will take all the aspects of our current exchange. and more, and slowly build out our cross chain privacy dex.
The DEX will have a very similar look and feel as our current version, but all the functions happening in the background (funds, trades, hosting, etc) will be fully decentralized, and Poltergeist Exchange will never have any access to your funds, information, or anything.

You said all that a user need to use your Poltergeist Exchange is just an email address and there is no need to pass KYC. Am quite surprised because this is a first time am seeing a CEX operating that way. Are you doing this because as a result of your interest in privacy? Won’t this create some legal and regulatory bottleneck for you, most especially as you are not geo-restricting users who can have access to your service?
Daemon: That is correct. We are set up in several countries that are the friendliest to what we are doing + by the time we launch main net later this year, it will all be decentralized anyway.

On your twitter said Poltergeist Exchange is focus in Anonymity and Privacy coin but as i see other exchanger want to delisting privacy coin because of AML and KYC regulations. How is your opinion regarding this matter?
Daemon: This is going to continue to happen. Exchanges are going to be faced with burdensome regulations and be forced to delist privacy coins.
Poltergiest will be waiting for them with an unstoppable decentralized cross chain privacy dex.
