Mumbai, affectionately known as "the city of dreams," is an endeavour in and of itself that reflects the unique diversity that abounds in our country. It is the capital of Maharashtra, which is in western India and shares its borders with the coasts of the Arabian Sea. In this city, one can find a beautiful contrast of the world's most expensive resorts and the poorest of slums.

And that makes my city where I live, one of the warmest places that is closest to my heart. I can be in one city and experience the thrills of various levels, Mumbai having a variety of iconic places in India.

Another major gem factor that puts Mumbai on top the uber modern factor is that Mumbai is home to India's largest film industry, it also has several tourist attractions to offer.

To start with one of my favourite cafe to hang out and to get a wave of nostalgia seeping in their atmosphere, there is Leopold's Cafe, which is one among the essential list for almost every tourist, as it is popular among foreigners who live in South Mumbai. This 1871-founded bar/cafe has a simple decor of wood furnishings and sings of its heritage linked to their history.

No one could leave out the gateway of India when it comes to its prominence in India’s heritage. The Gateway of India is one of Mumbai's most iconic treasured landmarks, standing proud on the banks of the Arabian Sea at the Apollo Bunder waterfront area. The 26-meter basalt archway, which combines Roman triumphal arches with traditional Hindu and Muslim designs, was built as a welcome gesture for King George V and Queen Mary when they visited British India in 1937. As much as I visit this place during most evenings, I could never leave the area without trying the ever-famous Indian chat based and fried street food snacks offered in the walkways by the street hawkers.

Mumbai would never be the same without it’s buzzling markets and one such famous place where the market became a link to the heritage and culture of Mumbai is the Crawford market. Crawford Market is a well-known shopping destination in Mumbai. This massive market sells everything from packaged foods, daily essentials, party, and baking supplies. Most of the stores here offer a wide range of unique items that you will not find anywhere else. Crawford Market is a must visit place for anyone who loves a lively place which sings out the culture of India.

If someone visited Mumbai, they would never miss out the glorious 5-star hotels in the main areas, which makes Mumbai one of the hotspots for luxury and elegance. The place I am talking about here is not just another 5-star luxury hotel, But the Taj Palace hotel which has a lot of history and so much of memory from the past linked to its past years. The Taj Mahal is not just another 5-star restaurant in Mumbai; it was built in 1903. The legendary Taj Hotel has witnessed some of the city's most important events. The Taj hotel is also known as Mumbai's 'Taj' (crown). This hotel's majestic architecture will astound you. The Taj is one of Mumbai's most beautiful hotels and historic sites! It's been a decade since the terrorist attacks, and knowing Taj was one of the targets still gives me goosebumps, but Taj has risen like a Phoenix! From the inside, the hotel is an absolute delight, and it is one of those places where you can just sit and admire the architecture.

One Gem in the crown of Mumbai which gives it a great word class and modern touch is the attractive sea link bridge called Bandra Worli sea link. It is the very first sea link bridge in Mumbai, connecting Bandra in the Western Suburbs to Worli in the city's south. This bridge is 413 feet tall and 66 feet long, and it is an architectural marvel. Mumbaikars adore this majestic bridge, which is one of a kind in the city.

These points of interest would make Mumbai the best option for the upcoming Uplandcity set up and take this game upland city to higher levels as people would love to digitally stroll through the iconic places of Mumbai, own it virtually, which is ultra-modern as well at the same time oozes out aesthetic appeal of its historic roots in each place you could add-on in Upland list for the digital edition.

MyUplandCity should next be brought onto this beautiful gem of a city of Mumbai.

Looking forward to virtually walk through the same places that I have lived.

Looking forward to play UplandMe in MyUplandCity of MUMBAI.
