Long time I didnt write anything because my life is very chaotic these days. My country is still degrading and everyone is depressed and without hope. Anyway I will not talk about this issue.
What I wanted to share with you is the unpleasant surprise that BINANCE exploded in our faces tonight. What happened is that my friend called me and said Binance is requesting KYC from all users and that they are blocking the accounts of the users who didn't complete their identification precess and we have until the 19th of October. Ok, I am not saying it is a bad thing, they want to protect their business and the users from fraud, money laundry and terrorism financing etc.. but for example I am one of the users who doesn't like to do the KYC because in being anonymous, I feel free and happy. Plus I am sure there are a lot of users who like me, don't like to reveal their identity for a reason or another.
We don't have big amounts in Binance so we were out of this Identification issue, but as it was the situation before the update, the users with huge money needed to do the KYC, so for them all is the same. So the small users are the ones affected by this update and we were happy being free, so why do you want to destroy our happiness and suddenly!
Suddenly because they said they are gradually blocking the accounts so only withdrawal is allowed, I for example have coins I want to convert before withdrawing. Luckily my account was still open for other operations than the withdrawal, so I did my conversions and withdrawed my money. I lost a lot of money because of this sudden decision. They could have at least gave us a one month notice so we can convert when suitable thus avoiding the loss of a lot of money or without worrying us that our accounts might be blocked and we are stuck with coins we don't want to keep.
Anyway what's done is done. Now I want to search for another trading platform which allows me to stay anonymous and let me be happy.
