Could you give us a little introduction about how the idea of the project came alive?
Eric:
Well, we are currently available on 2 networks. This allows us to be easily available on ERC20 but we also have some great features available and that will soon be available on xDai since we’ll need fast and nearly free transactions. As of right now, the MCDC on the xDai platform allows you to farm for rare and limited NFTs. These are available on OPENSEA and Unifty.
Launched in February 2021 by a global team, MCDC is a parody art project gamified token. The parody aspect of MCDC invites participants to build on the McDonaldsCoin story through mixed media (memes, images, video, written and spoken word). The story can take any turn the community decides, momentum of consensus on the narrative drives it. Active community participation keeps the story fresh and MCDC relevant to current societal critique. The story determines how the game evolves over time. The game aspect is unique to crypto in the way it operates. Through mechanisms such as NFT trading, game-specific sub tokens and LPs; MCDC delivers entertainment but also serves as an education in high-level crypto topics.

We initially came from Rubic as we became friends along on our journey, and as time progressed we made friends with people who are no longer our friends but we worked together to create MCDC with the help of our friends from Rubic. From there we started marketing and telling the world about it, and unfortunately, we grew way too fast, doing 1000x in $USD Value. Of course many sold along the way, but we held through the trials and tribulations and our commitment to the team and the community.

I’d like to take a minute now to talk about the tokenomics and innovations of the space.
At Mcdonald’s Coin, we are the world’s first parody, branded coin with a limited supply of only 37 million tokens! The overall utility of our token will come through NFTs and some other not yet announced features we will be unveiling later in this AMA. The team owns currently only 6.4% of the supply and liquidity in uniswap is locked for one year, to ensure the security of MCDC’s future. We have developed a truly fun and hilarious experience that you don’t find too often in the crypto space.

Good question! We are not affiliated with the McDonalds Corporation in any way, but we love Mcdonalds and hope they love us too. We are purely a parody token which is covered us fair use copyright laws. There is no connection yet, but we would be excited to speak with them in the future about a collaboration.

Also, our logo is distinct from the one used by the McDonalds Corporation.

Crypto space has been asking too long for a coin that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but still remains a good long-term investment.
I won’t spoil it just yet, but great things are coming in terms of the gamification of crypto space.

It’s one of the gamified applications that MCDC powers. It’s called the Drivethru.

The coin was made to balance the power in the market in the year 2021. We are sick of this. Sick of losing our jobs, losing our businesses, losing our houses. Sick of companies raking in millions of dollars a day, billions a year pulling in the dog chow.

I’ll start talking about the left side of the ecosystem and then move to the right side with our upcoming game, the Drivethru. I’m Pistol Pete and I am the Lead Dev behind MCDC’s NFT initiative along with Birdie, another McTeam Member who is focused on front-end development. So far at McDonaldsCoin we are in close talks with Unifty and their lead dev Benny and produced 8 limited release NFTs on the xDai Chain using their platform Unifty. We have a strong NFT community and being able to create them cheaply on xDai lets us bring our passions to life. We have lots of artists that we give a platform, with McDonald’s our main parody theme.
Currently, we incorporate McDonald’s Coin ($MCDC) by having an NFT farm that gives exclusive access to our community artwork and NFT by staking MCDC to gather points that are redeemable for our NFTs on Unifty.

Midterm we will be releasing our Drivethru trading game with never-before-seen unique tokenomics and farming. Currently, we are in talks with audit companies to check our smart contracts. This will certainly be our next big milestone after the art show at Pete’s Art House, scheduled for early April (in 1–2 months).

Our team has extensive experience in this and we have been constantly working towards this. And additionally, our website has been changed and will continue to evolve as our coin. I think it’s time to talk about the Drivethru. Our Drivethru game is powered by $MCDC through 8 coins that will be traded back and forth for less than 1 cent fees on xDai. The tokenomics of our coins are incredibly unique and novel and we are doing an audit to make sure everything is good to go. I was examining the McDonaldsCoin bases, and I saw in Etherscan that there are currently 388 McDonaldsCoin holders. Why did your team prefer to build the McDonaldsCoin structure over Ethereum and how did they manage to get this amount of Holders so fast?
McCommaClub:
Dextools hasn’t updated yet but we have 510 holders currently on ETH and 115 on xDAI. We haven’t even begun our full marketing strategy, but when we do, you will be very surprised with the results that we will do.

The Ethereum network is a solid foundation for MCDC, our ecosystem’s store of value. We grew quickly due to our great community.

Comma thanks for the specifics. We decided to go with Ethereum due to the availability on uniswap. After the fees became so high, we created a bridge on the xDAI network to lower fees and increase the overall availability.

Ultimately for the Drivethru game, our eight sub-tokens, which have novel tokenomics, will be farmed out using xMCDC/xDAI LP on Honeyswap. Furthermore, some of our most impressive NFTs may end up being farmed for xMCDC/xDAI LP, rather than just xMCDC. With regard to other exchanges, we may bridge to other networks so other users can trade our coin natively. But most of the action will happen on xDai and Ethereum.

Yes, you can trade them on opensea.io, but you need to bridge them using the Unifty NFT Bridge. Unifty is also implementing a marketplace very soon to do it directly on the Unifty site, which will make this much easier.
