In Karnataka, South India abductors asked ransome in form of bitcoin from a local business man and crypto investor
8 year son of a local business man and crypto investor was abducted where abductors asked 100 bitcoin worth $2.3 million ransome
The child was playing in front of his family house in Ujire taluk of Mangaluru district Karnataka, South India on December 17 when kidnapped
Shortly after victim family contacted police kidnappers reduced the ransome from 100 BTC to 60 BTC and threatened the family with dire consequences.
Local police were able to decode and track the last message of the abductors and arrested 6 suspects
All arrested 6 suspects on the case belond to the same family of the victim's
