It has begun; Bitcoin has now more volume than PayPal

Bitcoin had processed on average 489 billion Dollars per quarter in 2021, overtaking PayPal which on average had 302 billion Dollars. I sincerely wonder how much of that is going through PayPal since as we remember they last year made it possible for Bitcoin and other Cryptos to be send and used on their platform. Come to think of it, last year around this time Bitcoin was 'only' 13000 Dollars??

And remember, it's Bitcoin who overtook PayPal, not Bitcoin Diamond, not XRP, not BCH, not X or Y Crypto, no, Bitcoin. That same one many others tried to "improve" and wanted you to invest in, in exchange for some of your Bitcoin. But you know what this made me realize, Bitcoin is beating both globally accepted currencies like the Euro and Dollar, and alternative payment/processing networks like PayPal all at once. Granted, Bitcoin still has a long way to go before e.g. France or Germany starts taking similar steps now being taken in El Salvador or Paraguay, or before it reaches the same volume Visa has, but the first battles are already fought and won. That however doesn't mean the war isn't still going on or that they've given up on fighting already lost battles as the IMF just recently proved yet again.
